Where on earth did you get this head sculpt?!? I've got to get one! I could totally whip us all kinds of robes for him--I've even started the early patterns to make the Council of Elrond red robes. How do I find one?!?!?

Good luck on that Cap. It is a great head for a Smith, but not too sure it has the subtleties of Elrond within the sculpt, as in, it isn't quite as close a likeness as that...but it's not bad. Makes for a decent Smith though.

Yeah, what Les said. It's an ok likeness, just a tad fat in the face and droopy in the eyes.

It's the ACI Smith head... Just do a search on ebay for ACI 1/6 head and you will find it. It's all over the place. They also do an entire Saving Private Ryan set as well. Some iffy likenesses but pretty close.

If I could have somebody like Darren alter it though, it could be fine--it would make a great base, and with his talents it could be amazing!

I need to start saving up for this custom--it may be my first full custom effort. Hmm. You've put my mind to work, Josh . . .

Hey guys! Yeah, been a busy couple of days over here. Mailing stuff, had orientation at work. Will be starting tomorrow and will be working throughout the weekend. But painting will resume ASAP.

You just keep improving on that Joker Josh. Love the runny lipstick, very much like the make-up at the end of the first theatrical trailer. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

I really can't wait to see what you and Les do with the Mattel figure. I may need you guys to improve mine as well.

Thanks man! Yours will be coming out to you early next week when I got some dough.

And I think I'm getting these down now, I did this one all today. Start to finish. So I might be able to get done faster than I thought. The one in the pics above will be going out to Michael Crawford.

And BM, I'll be down for painting it bro. Should have one done myself here soon, so I can see how hard it will be to do.. We will see.

Thank you so much Les... I'm really so lucky to be able to do this many Jokers, and to see what you have done with it. It's been a lovely work in progress, making each new head an experiment in and of itself. That recent reference pic really helped too, gave me much to work with.

(p.s) I just got back from work, 8 hours at the theater... and Good GOD are my feet hurting. I was very stupid and wore boots. It's very painful.
