Ive said it before, but your work, especially on the face and eyes really brings your pieces alive... gives them a soul. It is fantastic what you do.

Thank you so much man. I totally agree. It's all in the eyes, as Les told me. If you can get a good expression out of a sculpt, you have it. All the rest is cake.

And great news, DA fans!! I am going to SDCC this year, it is a GO! Roy and Myers have helped pave the way for me to go, and so I will be bringing Roy, Myers and my Joker to the Con. I will show them off, maybe drop by the Sideshow booth and share it with them. Should be pretty badass!

So I will be trying to catch up until then, try to get to all of this very late work. And anyone who wants a figure, especially if you are going to SDCC and want me to HAND deliver it... get on the list now. You will not only get it directly from the artist but you will be helping fund the trip as well.

And anyone who wants to help out in any way, I will be adding a donation button on my website! Help DA get to SDCC!

Glad you are comming. If you aren't finished with my Joker items earlier, then hand delivering them to me is also an option.

Wouldn't it be sweet if we got enough of us Freaks participating in the Custom Figure Challenge to bring their figures to the con that Sideshow would have a little podium for them Unrealistic, but would be cool nonetheless.

I can't wait to see your Roy, Myers, and Joker in person too!

Don't know if you like the character as much as me but have you ever considered doing a Jack torrence from the shinning , I know theres a figure out but I think yo could do a fantastic job and its very hard to get and very expensive.
Sorry if a few of us are bombarding you with " have you ever considered making " posts.
after seeing your recent work us horror collectors are just very excited about what you take on next.

No seriously , please make this figure.

Its up there with the Creeper on my most wanted figure list.
I have always loved the shining , the score was so frightening , and the look on his face as he froze in the ice. Terrifying . One of his best performances ever.

If you decide to make it I would recommend watching the movie again first just to pick up on the way he is. He is a very unique character , a guy that super crazy yet intelligent and sort of knows whats going on but plays along anyway. He really cracks up and gets even scarier as the movie goes along.

Make this figure dude , honestly , its a must for any fan of the movie or even just horror in general , hes a big part of movie history as far as I'm concerned.


Plus I know if you do you will get a hell of a lot fo pms regarding it.

I don't even have mine yet and I'll say you should get it. Josh and I have gone back and forth about Myers and Halloween a lot, the man loves the character and you can't beat a figure with that kind of passion behind the craftsmanship.

Hey guys, big update here. I wanted to let you all know the status of repainting things, Jokers and Myers...

Right now I am pumping away at several repaints, trying to get caught up on some that have been here for MONTHS. I also wanted to personally apologize to all thos who have had to wait so damn long for me to do this. The theater job really sucked the creativity out of me and drained me of painting time, so I'm glad to be free of it.

I'm done with the "head only" Jokers, they will ship out tomorrow or the next day at the latest. I'm also making it my personal quest to finish the rest of the Jokers by the end of this month, bar none. So please bear with me on them, they are coming....

Myers is also nearing completion, trying to get them finished as we speak too. The Anguish statue is coming too, a long time Bannister has waited for that one.

After those get completed I will be pretty much caught up and will be able to breath again. But I just wanted you all to know that I will be pushing myself hard to get these finished. You deserve to have them already and you deserve quicker turnaround times.
