My Aragorn also seems to have a short hairstyle, what do you think? Inart says that this is handmade and cannot be recognized as a fault, I should contact the dealer, I wonder what the dealer will say to me then, contact Inart or what the hell ?
What do you think guys?
This is how this showed up at your house????

INART’s QC is inconsistent. By now, you should know what you’re getting yourself into by wanting/purchasing INART products.

Guess I’m also lucky, cause I’m 5 for 5, and yeah I’m including Ginger Joker. Hopefully, I get a nice Paul and red suit Joker.
Well, we know now. Thing is, some folks get real nice out of the box figs. Some of the Paul photos are stunning.

I'm morbidly curious about how whatever Legolas I receive will turn out. 😁

Honestly, I always had a level of skepticism from the very beginning. I was even sus about giving Kit my money for a while there just to obtain these INART products that aren’t globally licensed/licensed to be distributed in the US.

My point is that, I think everyone should kinda know what they’re getting themselves into. It does suck to wonder if you’ll get a “bad one” no denying that.

If the risk isn’t worth it to you/you in general, then don’t buy them. They don’t have the trusty backing of Sideshow like Hot Toys do.

I had semi-skepticism. After all, they had the high price, and were really pushing the quality angle.

Ultimately I ended up with 2 very nice Aragorns and got an unexpected tutorial on working with mohair. I'd buy Thorin in a nanosecond if they offered him. The bodies seem good (heavy); real nice accessories and details.

So, InArt is a choice; just that folks should buy from a retailer that takes returns. It would be nice tho if InArt sees some of the comments and gets past (evidently) the idea that people having issues isn't customers trying to cheat them, or something. That does go on, but poor customer service will lose them profits in the long run.

They're already losing profits - there's more than a handful of people who didn't order Legolas for various reasons (QC, no Gimli announced, price, etc). If they're going to start getting a reputation as a company that can't live up to the quality they promise, they're not going to last long.

If nothing else, at least they pushed Hot Toys to up their game for the first time in a while.

*manifesting of an InArt GtG dropping into my lap since I didn't have collector money back when he was available intensifies*

Sculpted Aragorn is available. Which we all know by now that sculpted isn’t really the way to go, at least not the preferred option for most.

Besides, aren’t these made-to-order? I don’t think INART willingly made extras or a surplus.

Oh so thats why you got pissy at me for telling someone the “you snooze, you lose” comment..

I also missed out on GtG when it was available, but lucked out in the end. Hopefully you’re able to get one at a reasonable price!

I think factories have a "minimum order" so you always "get stuck" with more than you want, unless you short your own POs.

Also, with the excitement over Aragorn, InArt may have ordered extra thinking it would sell like crazy.

Or... there's also the possibility that many, many people switched their order over to rooted once they saw the figures in hand, so now there's a backlog of sculpted Aragorns.

The truth's in there, somewhere.

So many people here bought TWO Aragorns and he's still available.

They won't make that mistake again.

I expected a lot of Phoenix Jokers around, but looks like that well dried up already. Good on them.
Most of the 2 pack Jokers haven't been released yet. Kit said more after CNY.

Rooted or scultped?

Although, if I hadn't rolled the dice and picked up a second rooted, the sculpted would be a consideration. Good fig to have hooded, for one thing. Ultimately I can't stand to cover up the rooted hair. 😁 If there's a mad sale on the sculpted I'd consider it.

Although, InArt needs to improve their sculpted hair work IMO.

I also think the sculpted offerings aren’t that great when compared to competitors sculpted hair. But I think they should continue to work on it before considering doing away with it altogether since there’s a good chunk of collectors who do not care for rooted/glued hair in the slightest.

Nah man, I just thought your comment was unwarranted.

I rewatched the extended Fellowship last Sunday and that got me into wanting a GtG. Thanks man, here's to hoping!

This seems fine to me, but it’s hard to tell when it’s so close.
