Very cool, I wish some company would take up a 1/6 Gladiator license, even if it were just Maximus. Hot Toys had a pretty good head on one of their marines, but his armor with the twin horses is just too hard to make on your own, at least for me.

I can't wait to see the fully painted up Maximus, I remember a thread was discussing it, but the price was far out of my range. Really hope that a company picks up a 1/6 license

that's alot of heads to paint! They are looking good, though!

I see the Andy B. Bale sculpt, but what is the other Bale? That's an awesome expression.

That's the Feng sculpt... very intense head.

And I too wish they would do a Gladiator line... anyone really.. that film was so badass and making a custom from that film can be a challenge. You have to almost make everything from scratch.

And I too wish they would do a Gladiator line... anyone really.. that film was so badass and making a custom from that film can be a challenge. You have to almost make everything from scratch.

I was tempted to buy Les' custom, but what I'm really after is the Colloseum armor, especially with his cleaned up beard and everything, just the image that sticks in my head. A 1/6 version of the guy he fights solo the first time with the tigers and everything would be sweet too with the mask he has.

Yeah, that is pretty hilarious!

I just got glue again too, so I need to go ahead and fur those bad boys up!

And Zack... Right now, Billy is working hard to get to them... and I am still compiling funds to send to him. So it will probably be a good wait. The Robbery Joker is almost there, just a pain working with that mask.. really tight fit. And I need to dye the clothes.

Nice job Josh, that looks great, you really did a good job with where the hairs on the beard fade into the skin.

Thanks Sean! I was OBSESSED with getting the beard just right. I watched the movie, compiled pictures... and blended...blended...blended.

I'm glad my work shows... it was a challenge. I really look forward to finishing the other head now.

Well, I actually really took a shine to the way his beard was at that point in the movie, it isn't quite just a chin strap look, and I studied images closely and such because I wanted a beard like that, so I've got a scrutinizing eye too.

It's an ASTOUNDINGLY good statue. It will take a lot of work to complete, lots of glue, maybe even magnets installed in the swappable heads.... might have to put metal pegs for the feet... Lots of work. But worth it.

That Gladiator looks great Josh! Really wonderful sculpt and paint work between you and Andy's sculpt (Andy did it right?)

And your "pikes" for the to-be-painted heads don't have blood running down them. What's up?
