Sorry for the delays in responding guys... working a lot over here. But I will respond to the stragglers soon. I do have a bit of an announcement to make... As of this month I am not taking repaint commissions for 1:6 heads. It's something I have to do, just to keep up with my figure orders and keep a tighter schedule. It also has begun to be something I dread rather than love, so the time is right. I will still do my full figures, busts, statues and will be expanding to Jason masks at full scale as well. I want to keep things fun and fast, something that repaints won't allow.
This time I mean it, no coming back later... pulling a Farve...
Tonight I spent a lot of time on repaints, Joker heads, Superman, and Anakins and Faramirs. I am trying to catch up the guys who have been waiting over a year, and get these Jokers out the door too. The rest of the repaints will follow as well, I am doing a lot of them all at once. So expect pics at the end of the week too!
I'm also tweaking my Rorschach to make his hat brim a bit smaller and more accurate as well as putting a real ribbon on the hat instead of painting it... Should have pics soon there too.
Pics will be here by the end of the week, LOTS of cool ^^^^ to show!!

hey josh, i jst wondered regarding the rorscach figs, do u do anything futzing wise to his rain coat?? i jst wondere d what it looks like on the figure, if it seems bulky at all and if u do the water trick to make it hang better.

Dude I totally commend and respect your decision to pull back... You should be passionate about what you do and when it becomes just a "job" then it's time to re-evaluate... Your work is so top-notch and it is great to reign yourself in rather than burn-out. Keep the Artist in you alive!

Thanks for the support guys, Syn.. you are totally right. When it becomes a chore, it's time to re-evaluate what one does. Repaints got me to where I was, and I sometimes enjoy them... but the sheer number I get, coupled with the tedious nature of them... it can get overwhelming. And my full figure orders have been blowing up, so it's hard to keep focused on it all. I think this is really best for me AND my customers. I don't want to be forever known as that guy who takes forever.
And teabelly...yes...water treatment everything... it always does wonders.
And Madcow, yep...eventually I hope to stop repainting PF's too. But thankfully not yet. I don't get as many requests for those thankfully.
And Kabuki, I will be painting Frightstuff blanks... which are plastic and come from the original mold from Jason III.
