Is that Gorman, with the broken ankle? :D

Damn straight! Just remember... you will need a HT Stoner or Hudson sculpt. I have an extra I can add into the cost for ya if you don't have one.

Hope you get it! Hicks is by far my favorite of the entire line. :D

freakin lifelike man. :rock

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Thanks Guys! Yeah, he was a toughie.... The armhair was a logistical nightmare alone... and the eyes were a lot harder than I thought they would be. But I am very very happy with how he turned out... and now I can focus on the other projects on my table and roll out some product! :rock

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

That's indeed a nice repaint. Like the eyes.

Could you tell us how you paint his arms to make them look like .."hairy" ?? You intend to make his arms look hairy, right? :D

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Arm hair!?! Now that is some attention to detail... wow, very cool looking repaint!!! Wanna trade for your old Hicks figure :lol

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

:lol

Thanks guys! Yeah, I intended on the arm hair thing... but mostly because Les gave me the idea. Michael Biehn has some hairy arms! :D

I mixed up some light brown paint and got a thin brush... wiped most of the paint from the brush and lightly hit the arms where I wanted the hair to be. I then drybrushed the same color in any bare spots and that was it... instant hairy arm!

And for those wondering... that tattoo is screen accurate. Hicks SSN and everything. :lol

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Your stuff is always looking better and better, Josh! Nothing short of impressive, as always! :rock

Not really sure that I get it...only use light brown?? But it looks like there are some very fine black hair lines.

Well, actually... you are right... I mixed the paint more in the middle of the blob than in the rest of the spots... so you get a few shades of brown all in one puddle...:lol

That way it comes out more random and in a way... more realistic. I do the same with hair on the head from time to time... let's you have more fun with it and give yourself up to those interesting variables that come with the technique.

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Hicks looks great!
Another great inspiration piece for when Hudson arrives!
Thanks for sharing.
