Meh this is making me lose interest. I think Lex will do fine in my collection. SS needs to strike when it's hot. I don't get how they could let's hundreds of these be produced. Boxed and shipped to the USA before someone notices the entire run is not up to snuff. I guess it answers an old question of mine, now I know ss has no idea what's going at the factory level until something hits the US

to be fair, the factory could have given them an amazing "sample"...and then crap with the rest of them. Most factories promise a lot and unfortunately tend to NOT deliver. I know PCS has had to change factories on more than one occasion because of it (causing delays) and he is a small player.

The logistics of overseeing the production of tens of thousands of statues/figures each year is daunting. The only real solution is to have a full time SS employee in China and even then, nothing is guaranteed. The good factories call the shots these days.

Yeah I know. I guess in mind I always had this idealized image that SS had a willing and happy full time employee in China, or at least some sort of manufacturing guru who flew over there every other month or two to inspect and oversee. Any way...vision gone

I hear ya. I don't expect perfection...problems/flaws will always happen no matter how proactive a company is. What's important is HOW a company resolves issues customers have...and in that regard Sideshow has really taken a change for the worse in recent years. BUT, the decision to not release a crappy Darkseid or Superman is a step in the right direction.

I'm telling you ...they saw how small he was and sent them all back. They are making him bigger and they'll come back and say he was always that big. :wink1:

They haven't given us any comparison pics, so they know they'll get away with it. This just to spite the people that said this piece was too small. :lol :wink1:

I wouldn't call it common knowledge and that reason also doesn't make sense for them fully refunding everyone

Whether the statues were just not up to par or damaged when the container was damaged has no barring on how they handled the situation. They simple felt it was the best course of action due to the time it would take to replace the shipment and a damaged container makes more sense since it was the entire shipment that needed to be replaced.

Man, this been so long. Did they even charged us for this? Or did they refund us? Pretty sure they still owe us the non-refundable charge.

Oh, oh...that explains why Mr. Green suddenly got like $540 in his credit card, a few weeks back. Wait, did they refund us the $500+ that they charged us? Or just the $60 or so of the NRD? So confuse. So like, does that mean we have to order all over again? Madness!!!

Unless you canceled, your PO is still active.
