Dude!! Come on man you are hurting me here!! I see your great repaints and then I look at my originals and I just get ticked off. I wish side show would be able to make them half that good. Your work is excellent! Have you ever tried to shrink the noggins down some??? Great job!!

Since Josh just did that awesome Ghost Anakin using your Anakin, I thought I'd take your sculpt in the opposite direction. Thanks again! Can't wait to paint up the others, not to mention that phenominal Legolas!!

Wow, I just realised I've not posted in here for ages. (getting a little bogged down with commissions now, starting (??) to feel the weight on top of me, also on Friday I have to leave the country for a week (my best friend's wedding... and I' m taking the photo's!!) so I won't be around, but I will be back! And I've decided that once my current batch of head orders (Leggy, Anakin, Obi-Wan) are done I'll be getting any future sculpts molded and cast by somebody else (still need to figure out the best place to do it in the UK) this will leave my time free to do what I love doing, and more importantly what I'm good at! Painting and sculpting. (also, to be totally honest with you guys... having to do everything myself... I can't really cope with it. It's too much to do in the 14 hrs a day I'm doing right now, I just can't physically fit it all in. But i do not want it to stop.... hence I'll be letting other people do the repetative work in the future I think, and stop trying to be a super hero)

At the moment most of my time seems to be making molds, and cleaning up imperfect casts..... and that's really not where my time should be . Plus it means I'll get a lot more done. Like the 1/6 diorama backdrops/stands I've started building for these figures. And new heads too.

dammit! Remind me to get something for that cough today.

Anyway... enough about me, lets talk about me!

All these Anakin heads painted by other people are starting to show up now, and I love it! I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to see some of you have a stab at this head, and they're just fantastic. This is a very rewarding time for me, so thank you my friends. And it can only get better as more people paint them (and different heads too)

Now leave me alone and let me get on with some work! lol

Holy...... !!

Not a fan of the any gloss on face scult with exception of eyes,lips and les' sweaty Hudsons.

But that flesh tone mix is one of the most brilliant right on the money jobs,my eyes have seen.

Are the pores due to the casting or is that in the master paintwork?

Darren, imo this repaint really showcases the talent in your reworked sculpt, to a new level (not to take away from the fine repaints we have seen soo far).

I would love to own one painted up like that....runs to grab dullcoat

Well... I'm finally back from Kefalonia (Greek island)... took about 1,000 photos of the wedding we were photographing (myself and Jane taking pics), and about the same of our own photos of the island as we got to explore it a little.
So i get back on here.... check my emails..... 158!!!! some were junk.... some were new commission requests or asking for info... and some were asking how am i getting on with their pieces, lol

oh well... no rest for the wicked.

anyway... I'm not staying in here too long... its 4pm nearly and i've JUST finished going through and answering my emails and pms. a quick whizz through the forums (and i mean quick) and then it's on with endless list of customs to get done that have been paid for. (and then get on with the ones that haven't been paid for yet... and there's three times the number of those, lol)

I'll have no fingers (or brain) left after it all.

Definitely be getting someone to cast my stuff for me from now on... I'm getting more people commissioning one-off sculpts now so making molds and casts is just stopping me doing the cool stuff.

aaaanyway.... I'm back, so shut up and let me get on with my work!

sunohc, that’s a fella called Wan Lee. I got that pic in my email while I was away. He says it’s about 90% finished, still some work to do on it. The guy has some amazing things on his blog… he’s very skilled with his painting and building of things. He bought a bunch of the heads from me… and apparently about 20 of his Korean friends want them as well….. looks like I better learn how to sculpt for myself! I’m gonna be busy if this is the reaction I’m getting. Can’t wait to stop these resculpts and get one with some new ones of my own. That’s what I want to be doing.

Can’t wait to see Wan’s paint job once it’s finished. I’ll get pictures sent to me but no doubt sunohc will grab them from Wan’s blog as well… so we’ll all get to see them. I can’t wait. The man is seriously talented.

Anyway…. Enough about me…. I’m off to get some proper work done…. Painting and gluing and sculpting and stuff. Speak to you all soon… and it’s good to be back!!
