ok, Official Announcement time. As from now I will be taking no further orders for commissions/customs etc for a while. I've currently got 27 already paid for jobs, some will take me an hour each... while others I will be (and already have for some) be spending months working on. And then I've got about 50 not-yet paid for ones waiting in the wings.

The new orders from this and other forums, and emails, and my blog are coming in much faster than I can get through them, and I'm starting to make people wait. And that was something I never wanted to do.

Also Jane found out while we were at the wedding in Kefalonia (talk about timing) that her old school friend had about a week left to live (cancer) and her mum was diagnosed with a serious illness the week before... so I may not be able to spend the 14 hours a day working for the next few weeks as I have been previously. Jane's fine though... just distracted and worried about her mum, feels like it's all happening at the same time. As do I... idiot younger brother who's addicted to gambling stealing from my parents... urgh, lol. Anyway... Jane's alright, and I'll get back to my full steam ahead within a few days.

I'm going to spend a while (few weeks, few months who knows) going through my current commissions, and then I'll open it up again. Those of you who have already asked for something, even if you've not been asked to pay yet... will get yours. This is for new requests only

EDIT: I just thought, if anyone wants to ask me about any future commissions, or anything like that... I'm still here to talk about things I can do for you, I just won't be taking payment for a while until I've dug myself out of this hole. So don't stop talking to me! lol

On a brighter note, I am pleased that you've got all of this work coming at you! You've worked hard to get this far, so if you do manage get 5 minutes to yourself, be sure to pat yourself on the back ( I know you won't though !) you deserve it mate !

I knew I wouldn't get any painting done today with all the interruptions so I did my first attempt at a video showcase. Anakin and Obi-Wan. It was fun to make, getting the music and speech samples lining up with the images and footage. And it shows off the figures quite well in a way that still photo's often can't.

I'll be doing one for Legolas and Aragorn next week too. Have a look

Sorry to hear about your troubles.... I know how you feel. It is not an easy thing, juggling a regular job, normal day to day life and customizing. I remember when I started, wanting desperately to be prompt with the work... But finding it harder and harder to do.

It's easy to get backed up, especially with everything else life throws at you. I can never meet a week deadline anymore... just too hard to do now...

We're here for you bro... Hope things pick up.

And I too understand the overload thing. Trying like hell to get everyone's stuff done, and go offline with headpaints all the while, is daunting. Your demands must be even more so, with all the desired headsculpt stuff you do (and do so well!)

Thanks fellas, and thanks for the compliments. Now that I've halted new orders (why do i get even MORE emails asking for things now that I've stopped orders, lmao) I should be able to get through all the existing one... eventally.... lol. Then i wont feel so pressured... and I can get on with sculpting things that people (and me) want.

the program i used to make that video I think is called Cyberlink PowerDirector 6. Although i only used this because it would work with the format my friends video camera output in. Normally Windows built in Movie Maker is good enough for simple things

Now if only my man-flu would go away (impossible to paint eyes on a figure when your own are filling up with tears every few seconds and you're having sneezing and coughing fits, lol)
