On top of that, I hate that they were desperately trying to tie the game to the movies, not just to the SW universe. It is set 3000 years before the movies, yet still everything (planets, tech, even names) feels like it's only 30 years before. Come on, give me a break. no, this premium format is an easy pass for me.

Uh, obviously you're new to Star Wars. It's ALWAYS been like that. In every book, comic, video game, etc....they've reached like, a technological limit /balance thousands of years before the movies. It's always been like this.

The game sucks ass.

The three trailers themselves though are of higher quality than the entire PT...and Malgus is incredibly badass in them.

I've been a longtime fan, mostly of the movies, and previously I read a lot of the books and comics. I bought some of the first EU novels that were written when they were released. Back in the day of the Thrawn-trilogy, there still weren't that many different stories so it wasn't that hard to fit it all in.
Now there's lots of crap comics and novels out there, and some good ones. I've played most of the games, and there are pretty good ones (mostly those where the story isn't that important, like Jedi Knight (or even better, Dark Forces). Some capture the entire universe and SW-feeling perfectly.

Most of that EU stuff is quite close in time to the movies, so there it isn't that hard to believe that its the same universe. But when they came up with that whole 3000 years earlier-****, they really were out of ideas.

and yes, I wanted to like the game, I really do. But they're trying too hard with the environment and characters, and that really put me off.

I gave into the darkside and got him, I was a beta tester for the game and thought it was great. Plus I havent bought any Star Wars related items in awhile. I checked this morning and there was some still for sale, I guess there is a lot in this " limited" run.

I passed on this one. I have the super evil dude in his chair. Not much to these for me.

All I own is sith.

ex has been ordered! I have no smart phone, so I had to keep leaving to check on my iPad. It was a tough to keep going out every 20 mins and make an excuse. But finally it was up and ordered!!!!!! this is one of the best PF I've seen. Anyone who wants the ex better get one now. Otherwise you will miss out on the cool extra head. buy now and think later or be sorry later.

Cool, most who wanted it order it by now. The rest will come from reviews later on. I know Lady Death PF took about a month or so to sell out.

There are several books/comics that take place earlier than the game.
I don't see why you'd think they "ran out of ideas" for putting it 3,000 years in the past..seems like a smart move to me. They get to develop their own story allowing anyone to be Sith/Jedi, and they made it take place shortly after their KotOR games so they can continue storylines from there.

Heck, I think they just added a droid character from KotOR into the game.

and yes, I wanted to like the game, I really do. But they're trying too hard with the environment and characters, and that really put me off.

The environment is the thing I hate most about the game. It doesn't feel like Star Wars. Everything's boxed in and boring.

It seems like most MMORPGs today are strictly for raiding/PvPing...which defeats the purpose of the "RPG" aspect.

Like the design. But as a fan of the movies, who doesn't read the books or comics, and has no skills for the games, to get a character just because he has 'Star Wars' attached to him seems silly.

But I do like the design......

Star Wars is so much more then just the movies... dont understand why some people have such a problem to except the EU...

I am super happy about any EU character ... Talon and Him are great addition to any star wars collection

The design is appealing, he looks awesome. Both heads are well designed.

I read all of Legacy and I would only buy Talon to represent that.... I'd rather them have made Cade or, you know, the actual Sith in the story, Darth Krayt. But, TNA is proven to sell
