nope..no water treatment..just some tape and futzing, dude..

That is a fantastic picture.

I am going to have to mess around with mine and try to get his hood to look that way. Unusually realistic for this scale.

Ahh, thanks for the info, makes sense now, the double layering of his hood makes it tough to flatten without hand, or in your case, tape intervention, nice work.

well just use double-sided tape and keep futzing with the hood till it looks cool to ya, dude..give it a try..though its kinda takes time if u're a fussy guy like me..heehee

muahaha..i was in loveeee with that gundam when i firstlaid eyes on him..a pirate gundam..whats not to like??heehee..glad u guys like the pics..especially the hood thingy..

don really have much time to play around with maul..hence the limited pose shots..maybe this weekend..

Finally!
After a long elay, Maul is finally on the way...
I'd ordered the inclusive from SST, but for some strange reason my card didn't got through, waht with it being right around christmas and new year, communication wasn't very easy, so in the end I ordered from Bob at Fireside and Maul is on his way as we speak!
Ahhhh... after getting the HT alien, this is my most anticipated figure in a long time.
Soon I shall be able to proudly post pictures of my Maul, just like you!

I've only had time to crank out one final composite with Darth Maul so far, and I have to give credit to MaulFan for the layout inspiration. While certainly not of the same quality (need a better camera for that first), here's my first go at Maul.

BTW, I love how many cloth layers he has...it really gives the poses a more dynamic appearance when they can be "sculpted"!!
