It's a lot harder to do with ones feet but I can just about pull it off with my fingers...although it does feel slightly un-natural

This piece looks great. At 2000, I would have liked to have him posed with the torso uncovered and more paintwork or perhaps one of his "look for anakin" droids. But altogether, a really nice looking piece. Congrats to everyone who got it.

I think SS had the TPM Maul in mind while making this piece. I believe less people would pay for a half naked Maul (from the EU) than for the regular dressed Maul we know from TPM

Majority of fans would have been upset was this piece not based on the movies. So it's obvious why he looks like he does. This is the only way to go.

Darth Maul wasn't known as being normal... He was a Sith lord with some bad-a$$ skills in swordfighting. This handtrick was just something he learned from Palpatine
