I love darth maul my fav star wars character vader being a close
Second. But to be honest i believe the avatar neytiri LSF has more
Detail and a more complex statue and she's less at $1599.
Its odd atleast I think it should be the opposite darth maul
Should be $1599 and neytiri should be $1999 even dow she's
A little smaller and probably not as popular as darth but still ,
If the darth maul body was sculpted with his signature tattoos
And displayable with out his robe then I believe the price is more
Than justify.

Thats exactly why Maul is more expensive.
Ask someone on the street to name 5 Star Wars characters and they can name you at least ten.
Ask someone on the street how the two main characters are called. I'm 90% shure non-fans can't name them.

I know it's just one set of photos and not the best lighting conditions, but looks like the paint work took a big step down in quality from the proto.

This looks pretty flat overall (where there was a nice gradation of reds) and there's even what appears to be a smudge or lack of paint on the black above his right eye. And at least in this set of shots I can't see any indication of a new resin being used

Yeah, I definitely see a the smudge your talking about. I think I see one on the base of one of his horns as well.

It's just the light, the same smudge looks like it's below the eye too and it's not apparent in the other pics.

Vader for sure, but I can't see me buying any others (maybe Hulk). Hopefully they use the same paint technique they did on the Nazi soldier PF for Vader's unmasked head.

I Know alot of you are not digging this piece but Im in Love with it! Not a Huge Star Wars fan, but Maul and Jango are my 2 Favs and to have a LSF of them is a no brainer for me. If I had the cash to pony up for one, Id be all over this.
