got my wl converion notice today!

I am sooo mad. I have to cancel my order for Darth Talon. I scrimped and saved my Christmas money so I could pay for her.

My parents are in a lot of financial trouble and have decided to sell our family farm, where I have been keeping my brood mare that I have had for over 18 years. I was told that I have to find some place to keep her so I found an old friend that is willing to board her for 35 a month but I have to have her out by June. He has a good looking stud that we had planned on breeding her to so while she is there she's gonna get a little LOL.

Hubby decided that since it's my horse and I want to keep her rather than giving her away the money for her care has to come from my fun money and the family money will not be used to help out at all and I have to pay back any family money that I borrow for her care. So needless to say my Talon money is going to keep my baby close to me for a while longer. HHMMM wonder how much more a divorce would cost me.

That really sucks! I hope everything works out in the end. It is good you are able to make a conscious decision one way or the other though!

Although I would hope your husband would understand that this is important to you and would help you out without having to pay back the money. But that is obviously your business.

He is from a rich family. The only thing he understands is money and if he doesn't see something as a worthy investment to him....it has no value. He wants to retire rich like his dad and you can't do that by giving your money away for lost causes.

Wow, that sucks. I understand both sides but I'd put my animal before my statues.

if it's any consolation, u will probably still be able to buy talon later down the line for not much more than current retail (as some members here say that sw pieces don't appreciate that much).
