Do you think SS will make the stand available to buy as an extra for the people who bought the regular as it will be difficult to display this without it?
I know it's what makes the exclusive an exclusive but I am worried that the dome would get damaged if you had to keep taking it in and out of the box to change displays. I am going to make a custom stand for mine but it won't be as elaborate as the SS one, just functional.

If someone happens to make a third party stand, I hope I see the thread. I would be interested in one as I didnt purchase the special edition.

Me too interested... as I made a deal with my local store for the regular.. that way I avoided taxes and stuff...

I'm hoping somebody comes up with something, too. There are a lot of talented people out there.

I already talked to people on some customizer forums including RPF and there are some guys interested in making these stands. Russ (RB Replicas) also said he may be able to make this stand of solid aluminum, I already have some Terminator prop replicas from him and the are AWESOME.

Personally I'm going to display my Vader with his mask on, so Sebastian Shaw will go in the box.

jkno, please keep us posted for any information should a custom stand get made. Thanks!

Be sure I will, since I'm interested in one as well - it seems there are people interested in this on other forums too. Usually when making for more people the item will get cheaper ;)

But I think people should look into more options to have a variety of choices

I like the way the final piece turned out. Love the Anakin portrait!

But I am still upset about how you have to take the face out to put the mask and dome on, and I'm surprised that many of you aren't more upset as well. I think it's complete BS. It just seems like a stupid design choice that could easily be corrected. Especially since it looks as though the face mask and dome aren't correctly proportional, maybe if they made it so it would fit over the face it would look more proportional. Not to mention it seems really odd putting the face on the counter next the bust when you're displaying it with the mask on.

Don't get me wrong, I still think it looks awesome, and my exclusive can't get here fast enough. I just think making it so the face goes inside the mask would put it over the top. I'm wondering if it's still possible even though they say to take it out.

Glad to see the bust came out so great looking... the helmet does seem to sit too high, but not a deal breaker.

Also, I'm really digging the stand design now. Actually don't even miss not having a neck underneath it since you get such a great looking display.

I'm not sure I'd leave it on display, kinda weird, but I'm glad the Anakin's portrait has a flat bottom, I figured it would have come with a rounded head so if it wasn't on the statue, storing or displaying it would be tricky but problem solved.

oooh! I gotta get me an apple for when my stand comes! That looks strangely pleasant to the eyes. :lol . . .

I wonder if you can place the Shaw Portrait on the stand when its not in the neck? I'm guessing not... but that would be cool to have a way to show of the portrait if you had the rest of him on display.

I suppose it chalks up to trying to keep things simple like not having the base include the bottom of the mask, but it'd be cool if the Ex. stand had some way to make an Anakin portrait display when it's not in use, maybe someway to have his portait in a small bit of shoulders in Jedi robe, not film accurrate, but allows you to still get use out of the head with the bust fully Vader, but I'm sure for the cost and all, the assumption is if you want to look at Anakin you have it on the bust and if you want to look at Vader, you have no issues tucking Anakin in storage until you want that out again.

I was thinking even having the portrait sit where the face mask does... nothing to fancy, but would look better than just having a head on a table.

I do like that the Anakin is a fully sculpted head, versus being cut off somewhere in the middle of his jaw or cheek.

I always figured it'd be a whole head, but rounded at the jawline, it's nice that they did the suit collar to flatten the bottom. Even put onto the Ex. base, something seems a bit creepy about just having a severed head on display :lol

It's nice that the SF member posted images of it with other busts I have to get an idea of the size of this bust, I knew it'd be larger than the others, but seeing it next to Grievous and Palpatine really puts it in perspective.
