I was sold on the stand because I plan to spend a fair ammount of time showing off the Anakin head. If I were more likely to have it full Vader all the time, I'd have probably gone regular.

Looking back now, I really should've just ordered the exclusive when it went up for sale. FLEX makes it so easy to buy something like this anyway. I guess I just figured I'd never get into the 1:1 line and now here I am.
I'm hoping somebody comes up with something, too. There are a lot of talented people out there.

I just hope that if the stand does not include neck section (which I know it won't) that maybe someone will be able to offer one. I just don't dig on the idea of a partially displayed helmet.
But, anyway those pictures are awesome... the portrait really turned out great; one of Sideshow's best efforts. And worthy of top shelf Vader collectible.

I assume you just mean eventually they'll make you a stand when they have a Vader dome and mask to figure out the weight and how to support it?
Definitely helps the price sting hurt less, being more than most Star Wars busts, it also looks like the quality is above and beyond them too and balancing the price situation out.
As for the stand, even without the bottom of the mask I think it could look cool, as long as the stand is more interesting looking and doesn't hoist the mask sky high like the IC bust.

That is a good test, I sure as hell am not altering this piece in any way. I actually agree with the eyebrow removal now that Anakin's scarring is explained, it would make little sense for someone as burnt as him to grow them back.

I guess they have pictures of the exclusive stand out now. I personally think the dome looks kind of goofy floating above the face mask like that. I had assumed that it would hold the pieces the same way they appear when they are worn.
It is a bitt strange, but at the same time, i kind of like, and I guess, the reason they probably did this is so that you can see the detail work put on the face mask, which you'd otherwise never really see with the mask on him or the stand covering it. I wasn't too concerned with what the stand does for display, so much as function, I went of the Ex. to have a safe option for where to put the helmet pieces when displaying the Anakin head and not having to take it in and out of the box to have it look like Vader.
