I'm loving the new huge base direction...
Not a base, not a dio but the perfect mix of both IMO...

I'm just lucky to have a very open display area so huge base taking up space is no problem for me

Yeah the bases rely added more presence. Just more to the entire piece. The more elaborate the better I love the detail and stuff

I prefer the large bases as well as they allow for dynamic poses which I much prefer especially for Star Wars. I just wish my display cabinets were taller!

It is nice with a large base, if the whole base is in one same piece. The base has to be fully integrated.
The base of Reeves Superman is an NO! If they just add an black piece of turd, then just cut it! Keep it related.

Love the new tall SS bases! It springs my statues way up in the air so I don't need to use more boxes to prop them up behind the older level statues.
