Oooooh, The Wolf Of Wall Street's on Hulu? Awesome! Yeah, I'm just...I'm just gonna watch that, and...yeah, I'm just gonna watch that...

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Im just waiting on the leto performance. I don't like the shoeless, slicked back hair and that ****ing grill but if he gives off a good performance then i'll let it slide i guess.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

I won't be getting that shirtless/shoeless version of the Joker, but I will get the one with the white suit, and the silver jacket version, and the tuxedo version...if they make any of those. From the looks of it, I don't think Leto will better then Ledger, not that he needs to be, but I also don't think his version will have the same cultural impact Ledger's version had...from a visual stand point at least. I could be wrong though, especially if he's great and the film is fun. I hope that the tattoos go away once he jumps in that tank of toxic waste...they should if the chemicals bleach his skin again.

That would be amazing! That being said, I'm not counting on it.:lol

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Why are you guys so eager to want to buy toys of all this ****? I don't really understand it. :lol

I was able to resist all of the Force Awakens merchandise (first time for a Star Wars movie year) and I haven't bought a single Batman v Superman related item yet. Nobody is going to care about any of the current toys with the onslaught of more Marvel, Star Wars and DC in the future anyway. Just look at the things that have come and gone like Age of Ultron and Ant-Man.

I'm happy just getting good movies, **** the toy and commercialism noise.

I haven't bought anything BvS related, either. I think part of it, for me, anyway, is that the toys are a way to gauge success, as I sure as **** am not paying 200 bucks for something from a movie that sucked, no matter how cool it might look.

Plus, this is a toy forum. I cringe thinking about a bunch of $200 action figures, but, at the same time, I think anyone who likes this stuff wants to be able to see their favorite licenses given the same treatment that Marvel and Star Wars have.

He's my favorite villain of all time. It's the only figure I'm getting from the DC cinematic universe. I might get Batman if the film is good...but maybe not. Maybe I'll wait for the inevitable JL version....or the solo Batman film version. :lol It's going to be just like Marvel...but I too was able to ignore all the Marvel and SW stuff, but Joker and Batman are my kryptonite. It'll all depend on the quality of the films, the quality of the figures, and if I like it all.

Like the song on it's own.

Liked the trailer for it's content.

Hated the song in the trailer though. Again, it's just a song and the movie looks very promising.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Even if all the films are great, the ONLY chracters I'll ever buy are Batman and Joker, nothing else...not Sups or WW or any other character no matter how cool they are. Lobo could be tempting though :gah: One thing is certain, there's no reason to rush and buy the latest version, when there's more of the same later on...especially Batman and Joker, unless the films fail.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Ok, hands down one of the best modern superhero cbm trailers!

It was freaking perfect, great choice of song for the visuals and how it was utilized.

The speed of it all, the editing was masterful.

Each character was given their brilliant few seconds, Joker didn't over power the trailer but he was also awesome.

This is up there for me with the TFA trailers, even surpasses those good AOU and Deadpool trailers. Blade 1 and Raimi Spiderman movies are tops for me when it comes to best superhero cbm trailers of all time with Star Wars SE trailers up there in the non cbm dept.

What a great way of incorporating their low tier characters into their big tier universe by having Joker being part of the movie.

The only slightly weak part was her "That's what we do, we're bad guys" line and even then i'm certain that it will work better in the greater context of the movie.

So very sold.

That's what so great about being me, I can love anything anytime I want. :lol

One more thing.....Fury Road is over rated.
