Ugh. I didn't think Will Smith would be as Will Smith as he usually is, but I was wrong, he is very much Will Smith. Visually this still looks amazing but I'm not feeling so good about the humor.

Nope, that Batman impostor Joker is a Hot Toys creation. I'm sure of it.

Enchantress shows Harley her deepest desire, Joker and her as "normal", happy people. You basically see a weird Jared Leto bro without the Joker makeup, tattoos, etc. Basically him not as Joker as what Harley would imagine them as if they weren't super villains.

My greatest fear with this movie. I personally hate that Smith was cast as Deadshot.

Y'know, I'm not sure if this will seem silly to anyone - but another criticism I have for the DCCU is this....we haven't even met any of these characters as proper villains yet. Our first exposure to them is gonna be with a portrayal of them all as anti-heroes. Anyone else find that a questionable strategy?

Villains often become anti-heroes in movies and TV....but they are initially portrayed as full-on villains. If they start having redeemable qualities and doing anything at all for the side of good it typically comes later and is a gradual process. Very often they end up going full-hero. (Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, T-800 in T2)

Now, I haven't seen this yet, I don't know what these guys will do in this film or how it will end so I could be wrong. Still, it seems like yet another weird choice from the people in charge of the DCCU to introduce these villains of DC comics by skipping right to an ''enemy of my enemy is my friend'' scenario.

Maybe it won't really have any impact on their later appearances in solo Batman films or whatever, we'll find out I suppose.

one thing i liked of dark knights joker was that sometimes his laugh was sarcastic.
but sometimes the laugh was like a tic done out of desperation.

Jared's is starting to annoy me a lot because it never changes. feels fake.
