Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

It's really weird you keep going back and using this exact phrase.

Weird because not only did SS review better with both critics and audience scores, it also made over 3 times the box office that F4 did.

F4 budget - $120 million
Domestic BO - $56 million
Total WW BO - $167 million

SS budget - $175 million
Domestic BO - $265 million
Total WW BO - $577 million

So when you say "train wreck like F4"...I have no idea what you're talking about.

studio interference, multiple cuts, reshoots, someone in the movie feeling tricked. drama behind the scenes etc.

Just a reminder on the Code of Conduct:

Code of Conduct
We promote the idea of lively debate. This means you are free to disagree with anyone on any type of subject matter as long as your criticism is constructive and polite. We don't want to inhibit humor, snark or enforce strict PC rules, but think about how your words will be taken by other members.

Community forums are at their best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask that you conduct yourself in a civilized manner when participating in these forums. Remember, that your opinion is not a fact and repeating the same criticism over and over again is unlikely to change anyone else’s mind. Think about how your post comes across to readers and be mindful of how you’d like others to respond before you post. The guidelines and rules listed below explain what behavior is expected of you and what behavior you can expect from other community members. Note that the following guidelines are not exhaustive, and may not address all manner of offensive behavior. As such, the forum moderators shall have full discretion to address any behavior that they feel is inappropriate. Your access to these forums is a "privilege," and not a "right."

Anyone is free to openly state how much you dislike a film in any movie thread but if you're just going to "threadcrap" on an ongoing basis with no respect or courtesy for those who might actually enjoy the topic of discussion then your posts will be deleted (at the minimum.)

Negative opinions are absolutely allowed as long as they are respectful and considerate of others. Personal attacks against members for simply liking or not liking something will not be tolerated and should be reported to a moderator.

If you want a good guideline on how to post that you don't like something, look to forum member JAWS. He often is very up front about what he disliked in any given film, but always does so in a courteous and humble manner. His is a very good example to follow. Chronic threadcrappers won't be called out publicly anymore, their posts will be deleted and they'll be notified quietly via PM.

Hate all you want, just be nice about it. :)

Looks like the Blu is rumored for December 28th. I think it will be moved up though.
