Why do you think they had Weller in the first place? Do you think they thought it would help vid sales? Its not like hes worked on anything for DC before.

While I don't begrudge DC for going with someone else, I really do think Conroy would've been the better choice for this. He has such a mastery of the Bat-voice, that he'd have been able to hit the emotional peaks and valleys, rather than Weller's monotone delivery.

I saw Part2. It was brilliant and a very good adaptation of the comic. They changed a few things here and there but I was blown away. And the best part is, now the story is complete and it is around 150 minutes long! This is really the best Batman on screen without a doubt and topped the still brilliant Under the Red Hood. Of course it was expected since we are talking about one of the most important Batman story out there. The voices, the music, everything was just simply perfect and it was *****ing violent too and I am very glad because DC has the nerve to do something like this. This is a very dark, bloody, depressive and I am so happy for it! Frank Miller was a genius with this story. Everything is perfectly fit with each other and there are a lots of messege in this about our society etc. etc. I will watch part 1 and 2 together tonight. Peter Weller also my new favorite Batman next to Kevin. Why can't the filmmakers make this kind of Batman on screen? Also with this kind of brutality and violance, darkness, seriousness? I hope one day they will do it. Maybe in the reboot, I don't know.

Glad to hear part 2 is as good. I'm really excited for it. Where did you see it? I thought it wasn't out for a couple weeks? I saw the clip DC released of batman taking out the swat guys on the roof, looks great. The fight scenes in part 1 are the best batman fights I've seen on screen. Fantastic stuff.

Many guys have seen it. You just have to get it from the Internet. Anyway it is really great. And Joker...omg and he has a creepy music too. I will see part 1 and 2 together tommorow.

Complete fail on the packaging for 1 and 2. WB marketing and branding idiots at work.
Miller's covers for this series were iconic. My personal choice would have been to use these images.
