Yes. 2500 pieces less. That ends the debate that Superman will have a larger total ES than Batman.

Thanks guys. I never thought to look at the reg. just assumed that if the ex is higher then the reg would be to. Strange that they did it like this. So over all there will be 2000 more Batman pfs. Makes sense as Bats is so much more popular.

Many of us would like to display both heads or actually like the EX sculpt better, minus the eyes. With the worms there we are afraid that we will have an ex head sitting in a box for all time.

And they "fixed" Cobra Commander and others. The rumour is they're fixing the Ex on this but we're not sure to what. Hopefully red painted eyes or a third portrait but no one knows what it will be for sure.

I always complain about too big an ES but even I think 7500 in total for Supes is okay. He can still be rare years down the road as he's such a big character. And if they fix the Ex portrait to something amazing then our 2500 Ex pieces will be pretty collectible. Just IMHO. G'night people.

LOL Thanks Jaws. I'm feeling pretty good about my Ex order and cannot wait to get Supes in hand! I'm pretty content with the ES considering it's one of the most popular characters in comics ever. I wish they had made a few less of Batman though... Oh well.

As long as you are feeling good that is the main thing. I will admit I was pretty nervous that the ES was going to be out of control, and as much as I don't collect numbers it does feel a little more special having them on a statue. I was really nervous about an open edition regular.

well I buckled, had to order the EX, especially now you guys have clarified it for me... thanks. On a side note, I sure hope they change the eyes, pretty weird looking. I have the Hulk Maquette and have found an awesome image of Metropolis in ruins that will be the backdrop for my Hulk vs Superman Diorama My two favourite characters even if they are dc/marvel. I don't care and it's going to look awesome.

Nah, just kidding i have to say, since collecting i have appreciated certain pieces which have low ES's which in turn makes them rarer, possibly more valuable in time, etc...but all in all, i'm not too fussed about ES's really. All i collect for is to get amazing statues, busts or figures that have me so excited that when i eventually have them on displayi cant take my eyes off of them! As long as they look the @$*!@#@ then im a happy collector
