Why, we had to know it was going to be a pretty big ES



Well I guess the SDCC pics help sell Batman, and the EX must have made a few people bock.

I hate to say it all BUT I KNEW IT!!! I'm glad they didn't overkill this ES. Yes, 2500 is a little much but not really for Supes. At least all together he is only at 7500 for Ex and Reg together. I'm not unhappy with my purchase now and will keep my Ex. Word on the street is they're changing the Ex portrait anyway. The 7500 ES together is still slightly excessive but not unreasonable. I'm VERY glad SS isn't over-flooding the market with these pieces. Still in the collecting game when I was just about to quit. And as for all you people that thought there would be a million of Supes made LMAO. Wrong! BTW WW ES will be even less ES which is a good thing. Keeping my Ex order WOOHOO!!! Thanks SS

2,500...not a very "limited" edition in my opinion. I rushed to order the ex the day it came out. Guess I didn't need to be in such a hurry. The regular version will be around 8,000?? I get SS wanting to make as much money as possible but they just killed the collectability of this statue. I buy them to display, but it would be nice to have a REAL limited edition.

Agreed. 7500 total ES is reasonable worldwide and I'm the KING of complaining about ES. I think Batman's 9500 is too much. Glad I ordered the Ex on Supes. And I may get that Reeve PF 'cause he will be even more rare a piece in my collection.

As for the portrait change: one of the dudes at One Million Comix said his SS rep said a change is being contemplated but he also pushed that I could order a Reg through him for cheaper of course. Hopefully the change rumour turns out true and I think it may be with the Ex ES increase...? Not sure what exactly or maybe they'll add a third portrait? Either way, I will never display him with the current Ex but am just glad SS didn't overdo it with the ES. I would have preferred 6000 in total but it's all good and no cancelling this EX for me (like I did with Batman). LMAO I'm kind of happy right now, I was ready to hang it up for good with SS with all the open ES as of late.

Awesome. Yeah something concrete would be great but we're at SS's mercy with this decision lol. I think the change or add on will happen though. He's too beautiful a PF to not want to make a grail, and at 7500 pieces worldwide, he just might be one day. That "Seinfeld Superman statue" became pretty rare and sought after and the ES for that was around the same. Congrats all! Off to eat my dinner smiling lol.

There will be 2000 lonely Batmans out there without a Superman. They must have figured out the TBD system a little more accurately, and he is definetly on a slower pase then Bats and Ivy where.... However, no SDCC photos to hype this one.

Nope I totally admit that the Ex could be slowing the sales, BUT the Ex ES is BIGGER then Batman, so they MUST figure they can sell them.... My guess is it is a combination of the uncertainty around the Ex and MAYBE the Batman Reg has been sellin less then they thought... Making 5000 a better number.

Oh and you have used that Joke before, but it is okay, it was OLD the first time you used it...
