i rather have a younger ver./heat vision of superman alex ross than Jim lee design. I love Jim Lee batman, but not his superman.

Ugh, this pic really confirms that I need to see another portrait - it's just too Alex Ross-ish for my liking (and it's a quality sculpt - the style is what I don't like).

It also goes to show how many people failed to learn the difference between "fact and opinion" while in elementary school.

Wow the pics of the both super mans look so different. My guess is the older generation like the more retro older realistic look. The new generation wants the badass comic book style look. So there's no way to make both sides happy but to make both version heads. So SS please make both heads one from Alex Ross that we saw and one for the younger gen the Jim lee comic art style head. For me I'm a huge Jim lee fan so not fair for me saying which is better.

There's always better than Jim Lee when it comes to comic art, see below. And I'm not trashing him, just saying he's not even in my top 10.

I'd go Lee Bermejo, his attention to detail is on par with anyone and he does a mean classic supes.

Just in terms of the people who have drawn Supes over the years there are so many but Jim Lee is the one all these guys pick for reals? And dissing Ross like that? Not cool man. And the fact that someone had to go google Ross Superman and Jim Lee Superman so they knew what they looked like, i.e. they didn't know already, says a lot IMO.

And just to add my opinion, I would dig a Gary Frank inspired Supes so get right on that SS

IMO all these posts debating Supes are a waste of time. The PF design we're getting is timeless and classic and SS shouldn't change a thing. We're getting a COH so everyone should breathe and relax. I want a PF design the way Superman looked when he first came on the scene... the classic, timeless, iconic Superman. Exactly the way SS made this PF. Easy solution, if you don't like this piece DON'T BUY IT. I'll be placing my preorder day one. This guy is a grail piece to me. He's perfect.
