You know, after spending $400 on Bats and getting Two heads and a switch out arm and a highly detailed base...I almost feel jipped with Superman...

I posted something like that on the SS facebook page when this PF went up for PO and got ripped a new one All I was asking was why the regular version of Bats came with 2 heads and Superman didn't.

Hey, I think it's fair to ask if we're paying $400 for the big three why we're getting more detail on some of the statues and not on others, but that's just my opinion.

Really though? Who the heck wants that other head? It's fug with the spaghetti eyes imo. Now if they would fix that awful head, then I would understand. My problem is the plain base. For this price, I won't tolerate ANY flaws on Supes. I hope he looks good because there wasn't a lot for them to have to get right. The Reg is awesome but for the price without the bells and whistles he certainly should. If he is saggy or baggy in any way, he will go back. Aside from that, I do look forward to getting him.

I agree with a lot of the things you say mistermark, but sometimes you just bum me out. Your begining to make me less exited about getting this statue. We should try to stay optimistic, at least until we get it in are hands. Who knows, maybe the EX head will turn out freakin' awesome.

It was not my intention to say the EX head is bad, or even that the Base is bad. My point was that We've seen Batman which is the same price as Superman and we seem to be getting More with Batman in the way of detail to the statue. Not only do we get two heads with two very different looks but a switch out had with a weapon and the gargoyle base is awesomely detailed. We've now seen Wonder Woman and while there's no switch out portrait we get a highly detailed shield, and awesome looking axe and her base is huge and detailed with all sorts of little extras sticking out and placed around her. So it just seems that when it comes to the details of the actual sculpt and what we're getting with it for $400, Superman just comes with less.

Lol at mistermark...dude loves to bring us down. Although I agree that I hate the EX on this lol. But it's Superman and no reason not to get the EX over the regular. I hope SSC improves on the design a bit. Even if they just cut off the spaghetti strings and just had red eyes, I would be cool with it since the head is facing a different direction.

All valid points, and can't say I disagree.

One thing that maybe helps to elevate Superman's price point is the cape? We've seen Batman's cape and how awesome that is...Wonder Woman has more intricate details, but no cape Just playing devil's advocate here...
