IMO "Light up eyes" are for a toy, I get it, yes light up eyes are certainly cool but I don't think they're all that appropriate for a grail piece. He doesn't need gimmicks... he's Superman. I see your point and it's a fine idea but light up eyes can break down the line plus I think they're cheesy on PFs just my opinion tho :). SS did a great job on Supes but I'm looking forward to seeing the alternate COH like everyone else.

Light up features are a waste of time. Who really goes in and out and constantly turns on the lights of their Star Wars PF's? Or the Endo eyes? I know I don't.

The gimmick fades quick for me.
Then I just worry about leaking acidic batteries sitting in the compartment for years.

Either that or once the batteries died anyway, cant be bothered to get new batteries, just to turn on a lightsaber again. :rolleyes2

:exactly: :goodpost: I turn it on once when I get theitem and never turn it on ever again. Then worry about leaking batteries.

This would be one expensive PF.

:goodpost::exactly: There is no way I want to mess with such a perfect PFs design. Superman is one of the last PFs I would part with and only if I absolutely had to. He doesn't need light up eyes--batteries are too risky--but like all of you I can't wait to see the COH reveal. :wave

Disagree. When you have enough of them that light up, its kind of fun to have them all on while watching a movie or something. Its kind of cool.

Sure. "Kind of cool," for a toy IMO. Not for a grail piece that you may want to hand down to your son, daughter or friend that will appreciate the piece many years down the line... long after that battery has burned out or the bulbs are broken. Arghhhhhh NEVER DO LIGHT UP Sideshow! :slap At least, never do light up for PFs. :rotfl Not into the cheese factor of light up, but hey can see your point of them being cool for a 1/6 scale or for a toy I guess. :wave P.S. AMAZING collection you have.

hmm, last I checked batteries are replaceable, and they could always use this new fangled technology called AC adapters :dunno

Even if the bulbs did burn out, how does that in any way change the statue from what you originally wanted it to be? How could more options be bad? If you like lights, turn them on. If you don't like them, wait for it, don't turn them on.

Sure, if you like light up, np. I just am not into it at all.
