I haven't heard of any issues with people asking for batman pf replacements and not getting them. So from my perspective, people shouldn't overreact about their later shipment if that's their only reason.
Sideshow hasn't given you any cases to be worried. I'm sure in a month or two, everyone will have received supes, and this will all be just some joke. And many comments of "Yeah, it stunk, but atleast it came undamaged"
Just be patient and expect delays in this business. Haha

have you actually visited the Batman thread? Many people were not able to get replacement parts.
You need to skim through the Batman thread. There were quite a few people that got put on a WAITLIST for replacement parts then they ran out and couldn't fulfill them. They were stuck with damaged statues but were given a whole $45 if they kept it and didn't return it.
IMHO that is exactly what Sideshow wants everyone to think....
I posted comments a few weeks ago indicating that I felt it was in Sideshow's best interest to encourage folks to flexpay. From a business perspective, I have no problem with the flexpay program.
As a consumer however...all I ask is for Sideshow to give me sufficient information to make an informed purchasing decision. If consumers that flexpay are going to receive preferential shipping status, then let your customers know. Doesn't mean I will automatically start flexing all of my purchases, but perhaps I would consider flexing in certain situations.
#188 Exclusive Supes arrived today and is absolutely perfect
Yes, I flexed and was charged on the 10th.
I started by putting Saran wrap around the head and the hands. Then I put a little three in one oil on the foot and the cape pegs.
The foot peg seemed to get a little caught up and then plopped right down. I then put the regular head on which will most likely stay there for a while. It very nerve wracking putting this together. I maneuvered the cape around the head and removed the Saran wrap. The cape peg went in all the way in resulting in me being ecstatic over my holy grail.
With the New Jersey rain, it's a little dark to take pictures today. Maybe over the weekend.
I never collected statues before this, since I mostly collect 1/6 figures. When I saw how great the Superman PF looked in the preview pictures, I knew I had to own it. I have since purchased the Batman PF, DC Direct Museum Green Lantern and I am flexing the Wonder Woman PF.
The only downside is that I have him next to Batman high up. That is great for the Andy Bergholtz Batman which looks down but the regular Superman is looking up. Eventually I might find a new spot for them.
I have a feeling that no matter how many statues I collect the in the future, this will always be my favorite
The day when a waitlist conversion flex payer gets his supes before day one full payers...
Thanks for your email and for taking the time to contact us.
I’m terribly sorry for this disappointment regarding the Superman processing. I wish I could tell you that it would always be full or flex pay orders that we will process first. However there are so many variables that we generally will not have that answer until we are receiving that first batch into our warehouse. We try to keep things as even as possible and we know that everyone is anxious to get these amazing statues as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding and your patience and we hope that we will be able to fulfill your order as quickly as possible.
Best Regards,
Maybe this was just a one time thing. Maybe SS got the wrong shipping information and billed the final payments to us lowly flex payers. They felt they should fulfill the flex payers who have now paid in full. PiF folks only have their NRD. SS still has to get the remainder on the balance for PiFs. While SS has all the flexers money. Do you think SS should have just kept us flexers waiting a few more months while also having our money? I don't agree with that. Did PiF get charged in April and have to wait until June to get Supes? I could have sworn PiFs get charged once in the warehouse and ready to ship.
It was a better business decision on SS part. I was already upset is took 2 weeks to ship mine after they took my money.
Either way you look at it. I think SS should fulfill flexers first. We've already paid for 90% of it by the time it's in the warehouse.
PS,
Supes arrives yesterday. I'm number 55. Well worth the wait too. It's hard to stay upset when something this beautiful shows up at your door.
No one pays in full on day one.I hope wait listers get priority over the "I paid in full on day one" crowd.
