I realise you're just talking about the popcorn gifs but it's still lame.

Then again if this cat disapproves who am I to argue

Aren't you the guy who started eyebrow gate? :lol

I have started a lot of "gates" but I don't hate on SSC and act like they have done me wrong. It's not like people are not going to get their Superman Pfs. They are coming. Someone had to get the first batch.

As far as eyebrow gate (I assume you are talking about the Hulk) Well there is also a difference in Just having to wait for your "perfect looking PF" to arrive and waiting to get you statue that looks to be messed up (judging by all the in hand photos). While Hulks Brow was not as bad in person I still wish we got what the proto looked like. So I still stand by my complaining :)

I would also say it's fair to say that I don't go into RAGE mode. I might complain "endlessly" :) but I am usually a tad more constructive then just flat out *****ing.

The difference between supes and batmans cape is the fact that you have to rotate Supermans. That's when the paint rubs seem to occur. I played it safe and wrapped mine in glad wrap.

I don't rotate the cape. I just put it around the narrowest part of the neck and the move it down into place.

It would be nice if you didn't have to take the cape off to switch heads.

This is the only drawback with this PF. Changing the head sculpts will be a pain in the @ss. The cape is not easy to put on or take off. I can totally see someone damaging the cape or a head sculpt one day when attempting to swap portraits.

.

PS - I just went back and looked at Eyebrow gate.... I did not even really complain in that thread.... I was just a worry wart.

In fact I think this "JAWS is always Negative" stuff some of you think is BS (I am looking at you Spidey ;) ). You guys almost had me believing it.

I complained about the Ex eyes on Superman... But praised everything else. Ended up liking the Ex eyes more then I thought I would. But yes I still don't love them 100%

I complained about the Batman Pose.. But said that the good outweighed the Bad... I still stand by that. I also hated the pits... Fixed mine. Just not as drastically as many. But that was an issue most had.

I HATE the CR Superman.

I seem to be most "critical" with DC.... Go to the other threads and read my reviews... I am always happy about SSC products :)

To Hell with all you who say I am Negative ;) ;) :)

Yeah I also agree with Bmutha and yourself, its annoying as hell and I just don't feel the freedom I feel with Bats

So I asked for a replacement, sideshow said they couldn't guarantee me a body that is in better condition. They offered me either a $30 credit or to return it for a refund. I emailed back with my thoughts and then offered me a $40 credit or a return for a refund. So when i told them i wanted a refund they sent me a letter stating they're going to "investigate" it further.

Another email.... "Thank you so much for your patience. One of our affiliates is interesting to collecting your Superman Premium Format Statue. However, because they are not in your local area, they need to know if you would be willing to take the statue to a courier drop off location. If you are willing to do this please let me know so we can continue with the process of your return and refund."

I told them that I'm 3 hours away from the closest courier drop off location...

Another email..."Thank you very much for your response. We are currently investigating the best way to return your piece internationally"

Then a phone call from Daniel Campisi he told me i was right, i am too far from a courier to send to an affiiate, and informed me that it would cost them too much for me to send it back, and gave me 2 options $60 credit or destroy the statue for a refund.

Now does this make sense? I think it would have been best for them just to replace the body, nope instead they'll lose a whole statue and $400 in a refund.

I know it's a minor flaw but when i pay that kind of money i want it perfect. $60 in credit means nothing to me. I know a lot of people are still waiting for their sups and i hate to destroy it, but sideshow is leaving me little choice. Only other thing is to take the credit and sell the statue. I have a couple of days to decide...

Would it be possible to sew? If you want to return it why not try to sew it first and if that works take the refund! :p

This is what I'm thinking about doing with the EX eyes.

This is what is do, try to fix it, maybe even take it to a tailor and ask if they can professionally sew it. If it doesn't work, destroy for refund.

Can't imagine them charging much for tiny job like that.
