IMO the only thing I can complain about with any of the PF's is the price, because of obvious license fees and whatever else they want to claim, right now these PF's are about 100 bucks overpriced.

I'll disagree with that

HA! when you compare them all together like that the PF makes the other two look absolutely horrid! These statues (with the exception of the EX PF) statues aren't worth nowhere near that amount to start. Im just hoping they dont gonna ask an ass load for Superman just because they know they can, you know what i mean?

Believe me, if Supes is anything above what they're charging for Batman I'll be pissed.

And I'm actually kinda hoping some of the other JLAers will be in the $300-$350 range instead of $400. I can't see myself paying $400 per statue clear through all the members.

Sups I think will be the same or less. More and I may have to call the buying quits for a while. Which sucks.

I'm thinking Superman will be $350.00. If he's priced like Batman I'll suck it up and buy him but will put my SS purchases on hold for a bit. It just get$ to be too much after a while. :rotfl Fingers crossed that SS keeps Supes at a fair price of $350 to match their current PF offerings. Joker looks amazing and he was $350 so shouldn't they keep the price similar...? :dunno

Yeah, to me, he's not that detailed from a Batman PF comparison standpoint. We shall see!

I was thinking the same thing. It's a great PF and I definitely have to have him but I don't see anything on him worthy of a fifty dollar price hike other than the fact he's one of DC's biggest characters. I'm really hoping $350.:yess:

The $50 is because he's batman, superman will also be the same.

The less popular characters will have the normal $350 price hopefully.

Very true. I'm afraid that the Sideshow powers that be will not B Slap Sups with a lesser price tag. It's like Cadillacs selling for Chevy prices. Not gonna happen.

Do they price like that? Give certain characters higher prices just because of who they are? In this case Batman has a much more detailed base in sculpt and paint than Superman's simpler base. And the figure itself has more details, too, the gloves, boots, the belt. Superman may cost the same but he should cost what Joker and Ivy did, and they had more overall detail (bases, cloth, paint).

of course they do, sideshow is not a charity they are there to max profit. You dont need a marketing genius to see batman pf and superman pf will be very popular so they can confidently charge $400 or eve 450 for it and still sell very well.

:lecture yes SS sucks like that. They need some competition to lower some prices.

You don't need a marketing genius, and I'm by no means a genius, but I do have a degree in marketing and worked in it which forms my opinion. You still need a level of pricing integrity for a product among a line, in this case the normal costs of PFs as a whole. I doubt Superman would be $450 just because he's Superman among a line of statues normally costing $325-$400 unless there's some other reason, I hope a marketer would be that smart. That's one reason why you have a higher ES, aside from the possibility of any contractual obligations if they exist for that. Otherwise I think it's bad business when the company acts like the aftermarket.

I have a feeling the PO for this one is going to appear during Spooktacular, from what i know about Spook as this will be my first year attending
