Congrats Hexic. This is a fantastic piece. One of the best statues I've ever had. And I'm not even much of a Supes fan.

As it happens, maybe some people here knowing the boyscout better than me might help me make my mind. I can't decide wich lenght I should go for with my custom cape.

I've made a quick "digital cut" to try and see what it might look like. What do you guys think? Is there a standard lenght for Superman's cape? It seems to vary quite a bit in the pictures I have seen.

I like the second one!

I would choose something in between the last 2 on the left. Something just above his ankles.

I like the longest cape on the left. It just looks cool. I never liked short capes. To me, they just look weird.

I completely agree.

I like all kinds of capes for every different superman for instance, I love the short cape for Frank Quitely Superman.

But since the PF resembles so much to Alex Ross', he has that experience look, that royal portrait deserves a long cape, so in my opinion, the 1st one from left to right is 100% perfect, I'd go with that one, it's gorgeous.

Thank you guys for the pieces of advice! I think I'll go for a long "free-falling" cape and a shorter wired variant. I'll post pics when it's done. I can't wait :)

Wife actually picked this up and got a free HT Jor-El w/ it.

Super nice PF, and awesome colors. Goes very nicely with the comic Batman PF. The only thing I wasn't a fan of when assembling was attaching the sculpted cape. Super tricky, although I understand the necessity of it.

That being said, anyone know of any reputable custom head makers/sites? Not interested in the super expensive light up option listed a few pages back, but might be interested in paying $75-$100 for an alternate portrait. DM me if you can help.

Love those pedestal that statues are resting on...where did you get them from?

Thanks Caveman123. Those are the Oxford pedestals from Home Decorators Collection (which is owned by Home Depot).

You can get them for a steal...black or white, and two different sizes. Very sturdy and great reviews from others. I'm very impressed w/ them and if you have problems their CS is top notch. Here is the link to them:

If you decide to get some send me a PM - think we've got a 10% off coupon from their catalog I'll share.

A bit off topic, but I love the Olly Moss print! Nice pick up! These two look great with accompanying posters.

Thanks! I know neither print matches the comic vibe of each PF, but having the modern day film representations behind each works for me and matches each figure's color scheme. [emoji1]

Just curious for the overseas buyers. If a box goes through customs how would they charge us? If the box gets on hold do we have to pay for it before it gets released? Or do we get a bill after it goes through customs and when we recieved our boxes? I have a boxed held at customs for 3 weeks and now it's released. Wondering if they will charge me for it. It's been released now so I'm hoping there's no charge later on.

Depends on how it's coming. Some companies like FedEx for example will pay that amount for you and you pay them at the door or pickup

I'm a bit worried now. So they can still charge me even if it's clear to go from customs. Never got charge before. It's coming from the usps from Brazil.

If the product has applicable duties then yes you will get charged. They wouldn't clear something from customs unless it has $0 fees or unless a company pays for it on your behalf. Sometimes I've seen border services send bills directly too (in Canada)

Awesome thanks so much for the great info! All these huge boxes I'm sure causes worries for customs when coming in from far away. Lol
