Several LCS in my area have reordered him several times because he has turned out so damn well and he has been selling well for them.

Plus Superman and Batman are relatively cheap when you compare to other SSC statues (like Vader). I still wish there was the "S" logo at the back of his cape though.

I dont doubt its selling well since it is the definitive Superman figure so duh

But if it were completely sold out it would be removed from the search function.

I get the feeling a variant may be coming soon so they might unload these internationally

I bet a lot of purchases are actually made from emerging markets in Asia that are probably a lot less **** rententive about quality control or Nit picky

Ugh, waitlisted! I was finally getting ready to order this after receiving some reward points. Do you guys really think there's a variant coming? I don't know how they could change Superman unless it was Kingdom Come or the new 52, neither of which I'd be interested in.

Odds are they probably cut the run early due to lack of sales.... I bet out of the 5000 only like 2000 got made... just a guess though....

Ugh, waitlisted! I was finally getting ready to order this after receiving some reward points. Do you guys really think there's a variant coming? I don't know how they could change Superman unless it was Kingdom Come or the new 52, neither of which I'd be interested in.

Get on the waitlist now and it will probably convert, but I would do it now. My guess is that the variant will be either Kingdom Come or RedSon. One or the other. However, this is the quintessential Superman.

For me, it depends on how the variants look. If they look better than the originals I may just swap them out.

Yeah it is one of the most amazing pieces I have seen. An absolutely perfect depiction of the character. When I look at it though I do wish the cape was a slightly different design. It would make switching out heads so much easier...lol.

Yeah, that's the only complaint I have about the piece. I wish it wasn't so difficult to swap out the portraits. However, everything else about the piece rocks. This is a phenomenal PF.

Do you guys think it would be best to get on the waitlist for Supes and hope that it converts or pick one up on Amazon before the prices get high? Also, do you think that this means that Batman could be almost sold out as well?

Since I'm new to the hobby I kept putting off picking up him and Batman in favor of other figures thinking that Bats and Supes would be around for a bit longer considering that their es was so high.

SS sold the superman and batman exclusives for 1.6 million. They also sold 5000 regular edition superman for an additional 2 million so that's 3.6 million so far. Even though the batman hasn't sold out they stand to make 3 million from that alone. Crazy.

I'm getting my superman pf by the end of the week or early Monday next week. Can't wait
