can someone tell me the product weight on this piece ?...doesn't list it on the website
i'm thinking of moving him to a different shelf and i'm not sure of the combined weight

any reply would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure myself but he's heavy! Similar to batman is my guess. WW had such a massive box but she was like a feather. Lol

Nah, just be careful installing the cape. It's a tight fit. If you are anxious doing it either drape some microfiber cloth over Supes head or the two "points" on the cape to protect the paint and then remove once in place for seating.

There have been a few Regs with googly eyes, but other than that I can't think of much except the cape installation issues mention XDUCK

Hey guys. Finally got my capes cut. Well, apparently I picked the wrong seamstress. The long cape ended up longer than I asked and she cut the short one a bit too short and could not sew the bottom edge (because of the spandex, it seems), so I won't be able to wire it and have it flow in the wind. It looks weird. But I guess it's still nice to have a choice.

Anyway, I am pleased with the long variant. It drapes beautifully and offers a lot of display options.

While it is totally possible I doubt they cut it to short... This has been a big success for SSC across almost all fronts. The pics tell the tail... He came out excellent and he is the best 1/4 Superman put there right now. I am betting if the cut it short it is only by say 1000.

With the MoS and Reeve disasters, it is natural everyone gravitates to this version for their 1/4 fix, so it may have really sold out.

Crazy... I'm curious if they sold the full 5000.

They may not have. With the Dock issues, people were still allowed to order. They might have put it to WL or even sold out as an attempt to "see what they've actually got" in terms of coming over and then might reopen it or even just continue to fill WL orders. A lot of SSC committees with the mid thousands in ES have gone to waitlist or sold out and I'm thinking it's just an issue of making sure they can meet demand.

What people also have to remember is that regs go to stores as well. If a store ran out of regs they may reorder just to keep him on the shelf for potential buyers.

Several LCS in my area have reordered him several times because he has turned out so damn well and he has been selling well for them.
