I recall Joker mocking Batman with him. Not to mention Scarface was mocking Batman in one of the Scarecrow fights too.

Hmm, weird, I don't recall any of that... but it's been a while since I beat the game.

I too barely noticed Scarface the first time I played the game, though the second time I played right through again I did notice him in both the parts Buttmunch mentioned above.
Even so I was very suprised to see the figure of him when these where announced! A nice addition though even if he is an accessory with the Joker.
Also only the third time for Scarface being released in figure form if I remember correctly.
If the rumors for the second wave are correct too then we could be getting another rare character in figure form from this line in the way of Mr Zsas.

Scarface appears in the Warden's office, you scan him and get the "Isn't the Warden too old for a Puppet Show?" challenge right after Doc Young is blown away.

Then the Joker has him at the opening of the final fight and has carved a smile into his face.

There is also a log referance about how he;s carved out of a tree they used to hang the inmates.

I guess in this week's Toyfare it was announced that Mr. Zsasz and Poison Ivy are in wave 2 along with 2 yet to be revealed figures (due February 2011).

I would guess a Batman variant as on of the others (either BD or Armored). That 4th slot is up in the air thoughl. Joker Goon? Gordon? Or perhaps even a Croc or Bane?

I hope Bane and Croc round out series 2 but DCD may save them so they can have a selling point for series 3 (assuming there is a series 3). I'd love to see some Arkham inmates though, especially the Hannible Lecter looking ones with the knives. How do DCD figures stack up height wise compared to Mattel's DCUC figures?

They are bigger. DCUC and DCD aren't usually compatible.

There really are so many great figures we could get out of this line, I really hope DCD see it through. An armoured Bats would be sweet, really liked that design.

My guess for the 2 characters not yet announced for wave 2 would be Armoured Batman and Commissioner Gordon.
DCD are quite fond of including a Batman in each wave and they've previously done a couple of Gordons too.
In an ideal world though the 2 characters would be Bane and Croc! We really need to have these 2 to get a complete collection. Maybe DCD will suprise us and announce these guys as the other half of that wave

I just hope if DCD make Bane and Croc they get the size right. I don't want either figure just slightly taller than the others. Bane and Croc need to be heads and shoulders taller than the rest.

Agreed. That is why I feel like they need to make a deluxe assortment wave.

And make them like $20 -30 each (most places end up selling the standard guys for $15 after all said discounts) or so. I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and get those figures at the right size rather than get them for slightly cheaper and a lot smaller than they should be. $100 for a set of 5 (if they did a Goon variant) wouldn't be too bad considering their size.

I know they are releasing a huge Mongul for Blackest Night (a retool I know) but he is being offered as a single deluxe figure for around $20-$25ish so it is something DCD is doing. I just hope they do it here too.

as of right now, wave 2 includes Zsasz and Poison Ivy, (who were both pictured in the new Toyfare) among others. the others weren't mentioned yet, but ivy and zsasz look awesome.

I've been hunting all over the net the past few days but no sign of pics of Ivy & zsas anywhere.... I'm itching to see them aswell!! Hopefully they'll show up sometime very soon!
