I really don't know. On the show, they made the Batmobile have both the "shiny" effects on those parts and the "regular"/opaque efects.
Again, an inconsistency of the show.
I personally like both versions, though.

The Two-Face we currently have is not the BTAS version.
In total we have:
Joker
Penguin
Riddler
Catwoman
Mad Hatter
Harley Quinn
Man-Bat
Phantasm
with Ra's Al Ghul and Clayface on the way.

But, apparently, the only change on this new Batmobile will be the chrome effect on the wheels, front grills and the grills on the hood.
I assume the overall matt paint will be the same.

Regarding the new chrome effects, as I said, on the show, they made the car with both regular/opaque (like the first release) effect and the chrome one (new version):

My two most wanted are definitely BTAS Ivy and Batgirl. I'd love a BTAS Talia too.

I'm also hoping they announce Superman TAS at Toy Fair I would love a Supergirl.

It seems inevitable that they'll announce a Superman Animated line. The question is...will it be a companion line, out at the same time while they work on the Batman stuff, or will they finish that before moving on the next thing? If it is going to be a companion line, I wouldn't expect to hear anything about it before Comic Con in July.

I'm fine with a Superman TAS line as long as it doesn't get in the way of the animated Batman stuff DCC is doing right now. I'd rather they finish the two Batman series before taking on something else including JLU and Batman Beyond. If they do go that route tho I'm probably not going to buy in simply because it's too much product for me at the same time. I'll just stick with the Batman stuff. Maybe Superman, Lex, Lois, and Mercy tho.

No way. There's an impossible amount of characters in the BTAS universe, it would take years to completely finish off. We'd be in lines with characters I just don't need or want, or just straight up re-paints and variants. Wave 45: Condiment King, Tygrus, Rookie cop Wilkes, Maven, and maybe a Terrible Trio 3 pack. Just **** I don't want to spend money on, lol.

There needs to be at least 2-3 Timm lines going at once in my opinion. I need more! Other than a few more BTAS characters and maybe a Batplane, I'm pretty much done with BTAS and TNBA. Bring on Beyond, JL, Superman and whatever else!

The batcycles for Batman and Robin would be nice, especially if they came with figures that had helmeted head sculpts that you could swap with regular ones. If they can do Roxy Rocket . . .

In fact, I'd go as far as saying a rerelease Batman and Robin, slightly retooled with Batcycles would have been a better pack than this damn Batmobile set thing. A little new, a little old, doubt anyone would complain.

Unfortunately not yet. However, I got the Justice League Gods and Monsters figures and they are the same style and have the same bases as the animated Batman figures. If they made Elseworld versions of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman then I would think the regular versions are on the way. Crossing my fingers, at least.

Still annoyed about the Batmobile re-release, or more importantly, the fact that I won't be getting a Bat-Signal for my set. I was a completist, and now this set ensures I won't be any longer.

Wish the car was navy like the Kenner release. That would get be on board with this set, especially at $140. But as it is, I prefer the look of the original car.

There was an interview with one of the guys where they essentially mentioned that the Superman series was pretty much a lock. They were still debating Batman Beyond, but they made it sound as if Superman was a question of when, not if.

That's actually a good point. If you're going to make the hubcaps, grill and vents chrome, why not make that sucker blue?
