Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

The hat of my Scarecrow is crooked, just like this one:

Anyone know how to fix it?

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I'd be fine with it if there was another option for the capes and the signal. If they had a Deluxe Gordon with the signal as an alternative to the regular version, or included the fabric capes with Batcycles, if they made them, I see no problem with the set, but, if those items really wind up being exclusive, then that's a ****ing joke.

Heat it up with a blow dryer, then straighten it out when its soft. Once you have it as you like it , stick the head under cold water or freezer for a bit.

@ Zod & Rex, thanks for the reply! :hi5:

I'm sure they'll continue to pump out re-releases and more exclusives if the sales are good, which I'm guessing they are?...

Thank you!

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

That's actually a good point. If you're going to make the hubcaps, grill and vents chrome, why not make that sucker blue?
I agree. Maybe that's in the third release.[emoji13]

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

The batcycles for Batman and Robin would be nice, especially if they came with figures that had helmeted head sculpts that you could swap with regular ones. If they can do Roxy Rocket . . .

In fact, I'd go as far as saying a rerelease Batman and Robin, slightly retooled with Batcycles would have been a better pack than this damn Batmobile set thing. A little new, a little old, doubt anyone would complain.

That would be great. An angry Robins Reckoning head sculpt with a bike. I'm kinda of getting sick of his grin on this current figure.

As far as Batman Beyond, they don't really have to devote a whole line to that series, just insert figures in the current BTAS line maybe? I'd be fine with just a Batman Beyond and an Old Bruce (with Ace).

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Still annoyed about the Batmobile re-release, or more importantly, the fact that I won't be getting a Bat-Signal for my set. I was a completist, and now this set ensures I won't be any longer.

I'm absolutely certain you could get a signal off eBay when released and it would not surprise me if DC were going to sell it along with another figure release that has yet to be announced.

Think about it. They're going to want to get as much money out of that bat signal as they can. Limiting it to this set wouldn't be cost effective. But they aren't going to admit that.

I think Blight would be cool.

Heat does nothing,I tried it on mine, pretty sure they're all like that.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I still don't understand the hate. I guess buying the Bat Signal on eBay would be to much work for some. Then when the Bat Signal gets re-released... it will be the same responses. Buy the set and sell the Batmobile and figures to make money back.

A Batcycle is my most wanted bat-vehicle in this line by far. Especially with a helmeted figure or two.

As for Beyond, I'd really want a few waves at least. To feel even slightly complete I'd want:

Batman Beyond
Old Bruce with Ace
Blight
Inque
Stalker
Spellbinder
Shriek
Mr. Freeze

And a Royal Flush Gang set would be awesome...

I don't think the Batmobile is an easy sale, and certainly would be a pain to ship. If they do the signal with figures by itself as a not-so-deluxe set, I'll buy that. Otherwise, I'll skip the signal until it gets a re-release with Bullock and Montoya or something.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

There's no need to buy the set if all you want is the batsignal. DCC didn't make that ******* thing just to sell it as incentive for fans to buy the Batmobile. It'll be available by itself or with a figure. I do think there's a chance for a deluxe Gordon with the batsignal, so for those who want the signal, might want to think twice about buying the upcoming Gordon figure.

What's not to get?

1. The Batmobile isn't even a year old, it's not even 4 months old
2. A lot of people just bought this during the holidays
3. Before the Batmobile went up last year, people suggested "Batmobile capes", which obviously went ignored
4. DCC put out that demo video buttering people up about their "definitive" Batmobile and shrugging things off like the figures sitting in there with plastic capes
5. People bought extra Batman and Robin figures to put inside the Batmobile

It's a **** move, especially to those that just got the Batmobile.

On another note, it would be cool if they gutteted the electronic light features out of the Batmobile value pack bundle. That would be a nice compromise.

Problem is that the D-bags on EBay will want like $60 for the Batsignal, like others I'm hoping it will show up again some other way.

What would be a good price in your opinion?
