Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Does anyone have any problems with the Man-bat? I heard many complaints that his arms are too heavy to actually pose and the interchangeable joints are too loose so the arms fall off the figure. I was thinking of waiting to see if DCC makes an improved version, but I am so tempted to pick it up.

I have zero issues with mine. I would pick him up, his price has slowly risen on evilbay.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

My man bat's arms pop out very easily and he is almost impossible to stand up because he has too much articulation in his skinny legs. No matter how hard i try to balance him, his knees will bend under the weight, or his legs will do the splits under the weight - - it's very frustrating. i need to just find a flight stand somewhere.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I got my Man-Bat the month it came out last year.

He's perfect - stands very well on his own, with his arms/wings raised. His paintwork is awesome, too.

I've had zero problems with him. No arms have poped out, either.

That's good to know p, so why are they reissuing him then?

I do believe it's just a re-release for stores that have been out of stock.

He has no problems whatsoever.

See? He doesn't even need the pole or waist grabber.
He stands perfectly on his own - and with raised arms.

Same with Joker and Robin. Zero problems.

DCC must have chosen the wrong word to use ("reissue"). It's just a re-release.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Are you talking about ManBat? Is this the reissue?

Yes,original release Manbat,as others have stated there were no quality issues with it at all,he is being reissued due to popularity, not breakage,go order him now!!!!!!!

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

To be safe I just ordered him from Amazon. With free prime shipping its worth it to pay a few dollars more. In case there is something wrong there won't be any problems returning it.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Wings/arms fall out of socket.

With that much weight, the joints will become weak and the figure will not be able to stand on its own over time.

Well, I've had him for almost a year now and he's been displayed that way (with arms raised) ever since I opened him up.
The joints are pretty much strong on mine.

So far, so good.

You have pretty much perfectly described my figure as well. His arm sockets have weakened in the year or so I have had him. He is displayed at the back of the cabinet with a slight lean back to keep him standing. You can't tell really but it does limit the pose possibilities of him.

My Mad Hatter and Phantasm also have weak ankle joints that require them to be displayed on the back shelf too. Until I gummy up their ankles anyway.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Why was she $100??
The Volcana Justice League Unlimited 3-pack that actually made it to the stores was very hard to find. There was also supposed to be a single carded release of her that never made it to stores. Some were produced though and were probably stolen from the Mattel factory and sold loose via eBay by Chinese sellers. So this version was also incredibly rare. The actual retail price was never $100, that is/was the approximate value for JLU Volcana on the secondary market.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I've got loose joints galore on most of the line, just using different stands for the ones that keep falling like Croc and Creeper.

I blame it on the state we live in. Being in Florida, houses get hot quick, I have had so many figures shelf dive because the plastic got warm enough to start to loosen and warp articulation points.

Oh, I thought you meant the retail price. I see Chinese sellers on ebay all the time but I assumed they'd made bootlegs of the figures.

How do you gummy up the joints?
