Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

They do but the guys who use HT are usually lazy and use PS on everything.

Peeps who use 6" figures use dioramas, lighting, props, and no editing, it's very cool, I enjoy their smaller scale figure more, I'm part of that FB group, if you plan to join in, be sure to read the rules or they'll eat you alive for posting crappy pics :lol I've been there.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Nice find! Which FB page was it on? I'm guessing there must be a show on at the moment then for DCC to be displaying them. Hopefully that means we'll get some more photos of the figures like this. Official solicit photos are cool, but I always prefer photos like this from shows/cons as they tend to give you more of a '3D' feel for the figures if that makes sense.

Also, Joker actually looks much better here than his solicit pic. Granted you can't see his face that well, but his body looks great. Man-bat looks smaller than I'd have expected but maybe that's just the perspective of this photo.

Yeah, I'd love to get different angles/views of these figures on display. I'm sure Catwoman is off to the side.

I really wish they'd show off the accessories or boxes at this point. Hopefully at SDCC.

Yeah, basically my last post was just a very long-winded way of me saying "I NEED MORE PICS OF THESE FIGURES DAMNITT!!!" :lol

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Joker looks great there.

Yeah, the body looks good and accurate to the show, but is it me or does the face look a little bluish? It reminds me of the kenner version. Manbat looks significantly taller than the other figures, which is a good thing :)

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

They all look great there! Hopefully we'll get some more pics from there too over the next few days.

Manbat roughly looks about the size as Mr Freeze to me, who DCC have listed as 6.75 inches. (With Batman listed at 6.25 inches) Having rewatched "On Leather Wings" recently this seems about right as he wasn't monstrously huge in that, only slightly taller than Batman I'd say although it was difficult to get an accurate idea of his size.

Hope there's hope for a Phantasm someday!

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

With a scythe? :lol

I still have the Phantasm figure mint on card, but it's about time for an update. With this BTAS lineup, there's really no excuse.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I am pretty pumped up for this line.. i do wish the price point was a little lower though. I guess the days of a $10 figure are over lol

This is what $10-15 dollars will get you nowadays. :lol

Well not sure how accurate this is but from Entertainment Earth say it comes in Blister Card Packaging... That kinda sucks...

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

What's the alternative? Some kind of clamshell plastic case? I like blister cards, though there's a nostalgic connection for me. Would also reference the older B:TAS figures.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Blister card s better than those ****ing clamshell packages. I hate opening those.

While boxes would be cool, blisters are a fine alternative.
