Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!
I'll be heartbroken if we don't get TAS Two-Face and Scarecrow...

It's not the box itself that is the problem it's the price of the set because of the box.
I'm going to be pissed if they don't do more STAS figures.

I just want my DCC Metallo.
Joining the wishlists conversation...
Besides BTAS Two-Face and Scarecrow, which are sure to be produced at some point, I would really want this cutie:
Then I would have all characters I ever wanted as figs.
These 3 could come in a 3-pack, and I wouldn't mind it at all.
However, if such multipack was a 4-pack, then I would want Thorne too. If a 5-pack, then also Red Claw. Those two would be bonus figs to me, as is Montoya.
At $28/figure, it would come to $140.00, which is exactly what most online retailers were offering it at for pre-order. DCBS had it for $119.00. Kevin Kiniry himself even practically encourages folks to find a better deal in the unboxing videos.
If you're paying full MSRP, shame on you.
Saw the Superman two pack in store this morning. Had a couple of minimal paint defects but in general they buyable. Not as accurate as they could be but they looked great. The cuffs on Superman looked a lot better in person and I was really tempted to buy it but was able to resist....for now.
Regarding the box for the GCPD 5-pack: I personally don't feel like it's going to stand out very well in stores. It's a cool design and everything, but I don't think it's doing itself any favours in terms of looking great on a shelf in order to sell itself. The colours aren't that vibrant, and the figures are very much obscured. If these 5 figures were in the usual BTAS style multipack packaging, they'd stand out more and be much more visually appealing I think.
Thanks Veil1 check out my Instagram account, I drew these plus every other BTAS character too! https://www.instagram.com/sfa_uk/
