We sure as hell didn’t deserve you back then.

I’m so sorry I made fun of TDKR and Blake.

Please come back.

I love how this is bringing so much hate from just a few pics. :lol

Phoenix is a nut job in real life, I have high hopes that this will actually be really good.

There will always be people speaking up that they don't like something before they've seen it. For example when ledger was first announced as joker - "people lose their minds!"

I love that people are constantly dragging this back up whenever someone is unsure about a casting choice. You can't really blame people at the time for feeling skeptical about casting Heath as the Joker. Like others have stated earlier, given Ledger's past work it's understandable that people didn't have much faith in his capabilities. This time I don't think it's so much about JP's ability but the director, the plot, not having Batman apparently and the fact that we've had a little too much of Joker. WB/DCEU ain't doing so hot right now. I don't blame fans for the skepticism.

Um... You do know that Christopher Nolan was a producer on Man Of Steel and had a story co-credit right?
He's had some impact on the DCEU.... It didn't help.

I think Phoenix looks great and that this will be a good film. It has a great cast already so I can only hope the story is just as good.

I don't just mean ledger, I mean most casting choices like keaton, bale et al.

Every time I read "Phoenix looks _____" in this thread I get the hopes that there's a trailer out for Dark Phoenix. :lol

Begins was good, TDK was better mostly because of Ledger but the last film was just plain bad. And for me, FOR ME Bale was bad. But I'm biased because I don't like Bale in anything. Lol

Again, I have high hopes for this and I pray it's ratet R so JP can really cut loose.

People say DKR was bad but when you compare it to films like hulk, iron man 3, ultron, Suicide squad etc was it really that bad or was it more average?

TDKR remains hands down the biggest disappointment in superhero movie history followed by Superman 3.

Nolan should’ve never went back but that money yo.

But forget TDKR I still can’t believe we have a JL movie and it’s bad....really bad.

I would describe TDKR as disappointing but not crap. And actually with the disappointment no longer being fresh I find a lot to enjoy in that film. Justice League sadly has nothing in it to merit a rewatch. I can't think of one stand-out sequence.

X-men last stand easily beats out TDKR for that prize.

The Superman awakening fight but that’s literally it and even then it’s good but not omg wow.

Last time I watched TDKR was during bluray release so I need to revisit very soon i’m curious how I will feel about it.

Hell to the no!

Hell hell hell no!

Hell no hell no hell no hell no!

Because coming off X2 is not the same as coming off TDK.

X2 was good, TDK was great!

Regardless of whatever its crimes against source material I enjoy X3 as a movie. With that one I just didn't like the way they offed Cyclops and Xavier. There's a lot of cool stuff in it though and the battle scenes are exciting.

The worst X-men movie to me is Apocalypse. Total snoozefest, the Magneto goodie/baddie thing was completely exhausted, ridiculous carnage from which there should have been no redemption and yet somehow he's still buddies with Xavier at the end, just nonsense.

I think tdkr is crap. It was just a seriously stupid movie. And yea X3 was bad and it was all ups and downs from here on out. People like days of future past but that was just another wolverine and magneto/prof x movie featuring mystique . I got so tired of the whole wolverine and a few cameos by the xmen by the third movie. Apocalypse was just as dumb. Thank goodness they are back at Disney

I can understand people calling TDKR crap as compared to the previous films.

**** yeah.

But as compared to everything DC has done since???

Or most if not 100% of the marvel stuff?

Geez.

They could only wish.
