Decided to give up on Superman and The Flash, I've got issues 4 coming but unless something amazing happens in either then they're toast

Decided to start reading Nightwing today, only done issues 1 & 2 but so far so good, need to start on Catwoman to decide whether to bin that one as well

im thinking i might drop Superman too. Its a shame but its just not really doing anything for me.

Nightwing is really good and if your gonna start reading Catwoman I'd say don't judge it on the first issue, as I think that put a lot of people off. But I think its turned out pretty good.

I plan to hang with Superman until Jurgens arrives, see if he can salvage that title. Nightwing is alright but I think the weakest his solo book has been. As for Catwoman, the first issue was horrid, the second and third marginally better but I think that book will continue to be weak as long as that hack Winnick's on it.

Yeah, read the book and give it a chance. It's a much different experience. It's so richly layered that I've read it countless times over the years and I still manage to get something new from it each time.

I probably will. I just read Moore's 'Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow?" , have you read that Carl?

Yep. I have pretty much everything Moore has ever written that's been published, including "Brought To Light " and even all 8 issues of his underground magazine, Dodgem Logic.

Ok, I read the first part of graphic novel of 'Whatever happened' , which was 2 issues. (Still have to read the rest)

Did you interpret the ending (where they show the baby playing with the coal and turning it into a diamond) that Lois' husband is in fact Clark? And that he just gave up being Superman? Or am I way off?

Yep, you pretty much interpreted it the same way I did.

Well, he's not necessarily Clark by name anymore but he IS Superman, though without all his powers. His chosen name is Jordan Elliot, which is an obvious reference to Superman's father, Jor-El. Also, their baby is named "Jonathan", which is a reference to Jonathan Kent. All interesting stuff.

Right on. Great story.

Yeah, still Kal-El / Superman. He went through the Golden door and gave up his powers.

I think after I get caught up on the graphic novels I have now (about 4 to go). I'm gonna dive into Moore's take on Swamp Thing, thanks for the heads up Carl.

Read all 4 Nightwing issues and found it to be quite enjoyable, issue 4 with Batgirl was a nice change of pace from the current arc albeit I didn't appreciate a reference to the Batgirl comics as I haven't been following that title.

Gonna start with Catwoman tonight/tomorrow

What is keeping me in Titans is that I loved the teams throughout the years in all their incarnations even Young Justice but the book has been lagging. I love Tim but can't seem to care about his quests and the new characters introduced aren't that appealing to me.

Animal Man and Swamp Thing were bad ass as usual.

I take it all this week's issues had the little Batman teaser in the back. It really captured my attention. Wonder if Capullo has larger images up somewhere.
