Its time as a sticky was up. We're six months into this now, its no longer hot news.

Just finished All Star Western 6 and I'm glad to see we're sticking with Jonah. The ads for 7 were starting to worry me that we were moving on to someone else for the main title. Glad that doesn't appear to be the case. The drop Jonah, I drop them!

It was cool to see a little Court of Owls reference in this issue as well! They really do go far back!

In other news, I finally got around to reading the new Batman and 'Tec titles. Batman I'm really enjoying, can't decide on 'Tec yet. I took some time off reading Bat titles around the whole 'Return of Bruce Wayne' stuff, but I'm glad it seems to be back to basics.

I also read Finch's first 'Dark Knight' series. It wasn't bad, I like Finch's writing on Batman. How's the New52 version?

Read Nightwing and Superman #6 today, still enjoying Nightwing but this first Superman arc has been crap. Really not sure whether to get #7 and see if the new creative team do something better with the character or just give up on it now....

Pretty much the same as it was before but with bad new uniforms. The nuSuperman is considerably worse than the previous incarnations.

What do you think of it?

For me, personally, I think I prefer the old costume with the bigger utility belt better. As for the old custom's black underwear? Ummm....maybe they could have taken that away and left the bigger utility but I'm not sure how that would look.

Any opinions and discussion welcome.

Considering this thread is called "DC RELAUNCHING entire Universe in September" and not "DC RELAUNCHING Superman in September", I don't think somebody brining up Batman would be objectionable.

But as for Superman, I'm pretty excited about #7. Jurgens' Superman is basically when and why I got into comics in the first place, so I kind of have high hopes, but I may just be looking through nostalgia tinted glasses.

So anyone reading these on the Kindle Fire? I bought the damn thing with the promise of the new 52 being same day as print, but after 2 months that fell off and haven't seen any new digital versions since issue 3 of most titles.
