Didn't even realize there was another Batman Beyond coming out, thanks for the heads up! I really need to find a way to keep up on new comics. Anyone that can recommend a website that tracks the big two DC Marvel releases as well as indys?

INo problem, I wouldn't call it a reprint, as the material hasn't been printed before, but basically, there are digital issues of BB and Justice League Beyond, and at the end of the month, 4 of those issues are compiled into Batman Beyond Unlimited. Pretty cool book though, good to see Terry back in action.

I didn't know about Batman Beyond Unlimited until I saw it on the shelf yesterday.

Batman Beyond was a monthly series last year, I picked up all the issues. I was wondering why it stopped so abruptly. You kinda need to read it to know what's going on in Batman Beyond Unlimited.

It's a fun book though. I'm glad they want to continue it.

Glad I didn't even bother. I prefer my Batman alone anyway so the title alone made in a no-go for me from the get-go. :lol

I feel the same way. So much so that Detective was the only one I originally wanted to pull. But Batman is too awesome of a title to ignore, even if the Robins show up once and a while.

Yeah, seriously. Batman & Robin is annoying to read. I'm gonna drop it.

I'll give TDK a chance till the new writer comes on.

It's odd because as much as I really dont care about Batman bringing up a 10 year old and as stupid as it is a 10 year old kicking the living ____e out of grown men I am kinda wanting to know how the relationship between Batman and Damien evolves.... still gonna drop it though:lol

I read the Justice League first arc finale. It was pretty lame. Long on splash pages, short on story and character development. It wasn't very strong for the flagship title of the nuDCU.

Long on Splash Pages, "cliffhanger" final pages and short on story elements has been the leading criticism of Geoff Johns for about two years now. During Blackest Night there was one issue that out of 22 pages had 10 pages taken up by various splashes.

God took Dwayne McDuffie from us and left DC's elite heroes in the hands of Geoff Johns & Jim Lee. Such seething hatred of mankind hasn't been shown since the great flood.

I'm only gonna keep up with:

Animal Man
Swamp Thing
Batman
Detective Comics
Batgirl
Nightwing
Batman: The Dark Knight

everything else is getting scrapped. There's a lot of junk from DC.

Batman, Detective Comics, Nightwing and Batman & Robin are my regulars.

I know a lot of people don't like Damian, but I'm a fan of him just as much as I like Tim and ____. You have to say Tim's name first.

I'm sticking with the following:

Animal Man
Batman
Swamp Thing
DC Universe Presents
Justice League Dark
I, Vampire
Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E.
All Star Western
Sucide Squad
Action Comics
Batman & Robin
Voodoo
Aquaman
Nightwing
Batgirl
Red Hood & The Outlaws
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern

Also going to give Dial H, Earth 2, G.I. Combat and World's Finest a shot. On the fence about Batman Inc., actually (there's already more than enough bat books) and I have no interest in Ravagers.

And Justice League Dark is going to be one of the 2-3 best titles once Lemire takes over.

When is he taking over the Justice League Dark?

Also, what are the names of the new Vertigo books?

Issue 9, I think.

New Vertigo books are:

Fairest
Saucer Country
Dominique Laveau: Voodoo Child
The New Deadwardians

I picked up the free Vertigo 2012 Preview issue last week (with the first 4-5 pages of each #1) and they all were quite good and show promise. Gonna give each one a shot. Fairest #1 comes out this week and then one of the others each week after that.

Previews are also here: https://vertigo.blog.dccomics.com/2012/02/15/vertigo-new-series-launches/

read the first 6 issues of supergirl, and everything was good till issue 5 and 6 where the art changed and the story went flat with issue 6 where it felt like they just tossed out what made the first 4 issues great and then decided to go with a ridiculous simple plot

Started on my backlog of JLA today and I'm finding I just don't care about the story and would much rather just be reading an individual Batman title instead :dunno
