Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

He can take a knee, but the armor on the thigh can get in the way. All the armor on him is rubber though, thank god for that.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Thanks, i should have asked this before but can he also do like a front kick? (In one of your picks he can do an okay sidekick)

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

He can't do a martial arts Front kick. His kicks can reach a figure's abdomen.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Okay; all in all sounds like a pretty well articulated figure, maybe not pak levels of pose-ability but i'll gladly make that sacrifice if it means paying less.

Thanks again.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

He's more articulated than AO Batman, that's all we could ask for.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

:lol Croc didn't shrink. The Asylum Deluxe was made too small... I know, terrible isn't it? Paying a huge premium for a figure that is scaled too small.

The new Asylum Bane is in scale with the Asylum Croc, not actually with any of the Batman figures. Even Freeze is too small. No big deal to me honestly, but cmon guys. Surely someone at DCC could have popped the game in and stood next to Bane, Croc, Freeze...

So no, he didn't shrink, DCC just messed up the original Croc. :slap If anyone here has XnaLara models for them do a line up of them for us. I would but I dont think my cpu could handle the program.

3-pack ($54.99)

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

I don't want to hear any "End of the Line" because there's a multipack. It's just a good way to sell a lesser known character, (Ie: Copperhead, Sickle, and Mr. Hammer) with characters that are more recognizable. Figure companies cut cost down drastically by releasing a newly tooled figure in a multipack with repainted/partially retooled figures.

Deathstroke looks sweet, love that head sculpt. Probably the least exciting though. Red Hood I was really hoping for. I love the Red Hood "character" and was so happy he was in the game, and am glad we're getting a figure who also is painted differently too.

Copperhead looks really nice, not perfect, but still really nice. Looks a bit thick, but looks completely fine to me. Really excited for this three pack. And the other figures aren't useless to everyone like the Hammer and Sickle packs. A lot of people were wanting these anyway.

Apparently this is coming out too for 59.99... Not sure why we need MORE Asylum figures... Cool that Batman is coming with the two best gadgets. Looks like Harley has the game accurate blood spray on her skirt now, and seems like the colours on Harley and Joker will be different too. Wish Joker had white gloves, but at least it's a bit different.

Sadly I'm interested in these, just enough to make me care about them, and make the completest in me have to buy them... Hopefully the box looks good, because I have no need for these loose.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

$55 for 2 repacks most people already own in order to justify Copperhead. Even the Red Hood on Joker is a resuse from like 5 years ago. :lol

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

They will most likely be offered in singles as well.

Actually DCD has a very long history of repacking figures that have already been released like this with minor repaints into some kinda box set. Don't count on single releases.

They did it with Hush, TLH, Rogues Gallery, etc. None of those box set variants saw single releases.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Eh, I don't mind this being a three pack since I'm getting still getting three very cool figures. So as long as the paint and articulation are good on the ones I'll eventually get I don't care. Also, is there any release date for these figures?

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

I don't mind the 3 pack because I wanted an unmasked Deathstroke anyway with Copper head. So $5 more above MSRP of $25 per figure I'd definitely get Red Hood for that price.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Agreed. I had originally planned on getting two deathstroke to give him a unmasked head. I also planned on getting another Joker for a Red Hood, but now I don't have to.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

DCC made good choices on the figures on this. People are not really going to want to pay full price for a slight rehash of Deathstroke and Joker, and DCC didn't want to put her as a single figure. Win for both if you ask me.

Now we just need Shiva and Electrocutioner. Might get one in another three pack with Black Mask with the Roman Sionis head, unmasked Bane if they can fit it in? That'd be a good way to get Mad Hatter. Roman Sionis and unmasked Bane.

I think we're still in store for another wave. Just one more however. I'm sure we'll get the other assassins. Penguin I'm losing a little bit of hope over, but they could recycle some of the City figure.

DCC isn't here to screw us over. I'm sure Series 2 will sell pretty well. Granted we may have the cardinal sin of having an important character as a Con Exclusive like Hugo, but we should be used to that by now.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Just found out that this, in addition to all the other releases that DCC announced, will be released in August.

EDIT: scratch that, according to BBTS the three pack will available in May.

I could easily see DCC making a three pack with Penguin, Tracey and Candy. I could either one, or all, of thee following being the comic con exclusive: Comminsher Loeb, Harleen Quinzel,
TN-1 Bane, Black Mask-Joker
, Alberto Falcone, or god forbid Alfred. If they make Alfred a con exclusive I would be furious...and buying a pass for that comic-con

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Does anyone know if the neca action figure stands work well with Arkham figures? Or any stands that do?

I would be in for those plus a Gordon.
