Re: Batman: Arkham City - DC Direct - Series 1 action figures
I don't know, I would be surprised if we didn't see wave 4 figures actually. Last year we saw Harley at Toy Fair. At NYCC we got all of wave 2 and 1 of wave three. I full expect all of wave 3 to be there and at least 1 of wave 4. Green Lantern had 2 full new waves at Toy Fair last year so its not asking too much IMO.
I would think Titan Joker will also be finalized by then and we'll probably see Grundy too. Hopefully they are willing to say what future figures are there even if they don't have the protos sculpted yet.
Well, fingers crossed then!

At the very least I'd love to see the rest of the wave 3 figures sculpted. A sneak peek of even just one figure from wave 4 would make me very happy. I'm half expecting Grundy to be there too since they mentioned him in that NYCC video.
Is there a section on this forum on how people display their Batman Arkham figures? How many of you guys open them and how many are carded collectors?
No seperate thread, people have just been posting their Arkham collection pictures in here on occasion, or there's always the 'show your entire Batman collection' thread in the DC section though that's mainly focused on HT stuff. Here's as good a place as any to post them though I reckon! There's a fair few pics of mine further back in here
As for opening/MOC - I'm normally an opener but for this line I made an exception! I have two of every figure, so one to open and one to keep MOC, just incase any unfortunate accidents happen to the open ones. It's proven to be a wise move too with the prices the AA figures go for nowadays - for example if anything happened to my Bane figure it's assuring to know I wouldn't have to fork out three times the original price for a replacement!
But anyway, yes, normaly I'm an opener. With these figures it's a shame to keep them in the packaging too since they're so beautifully sculpted and painted. They all look awesome together on the shelf too and with the growing number of figures set to join the ones we already have they're going to make for one very impressive display!
And just for fun, some pics of my collection I posted earlier in the thread:
