Not entirely true. There are two different case packs. One has Riddler and the other has the Hatter. To get both they'd need to order two seperate cases. So Hatter and Riddler are the two rarest figures and will thus fetch the most once these all dry up. So if you're debating on dropping full price on Hatter, its better than Bane prices later.

I saw Riddler at my LCS today and he did look pretty fugly. I'm waiting on my CSC order to ship though. My LCS always wants full MSRP on their figures.

I'm just relaying what my LCS told me if you guys heard otherwise then it's good to know too.

But I don't want Mad Hatter so no worries about after market proces there. The only ones I wanted from series 2 were Catwoman and Riddler. Possibly detective Batman now that I saw him but really don't feel like spending $24 on it. It's not that cool. If I do decide to get Riddler, I'm definitely going to need to make some glasses for him to help with that expression they gave him

My comic guy told me the same that they had 2 different sets to order. Why did DCD do that? Or have they been always doing that? My LCS had only 2 full sets left, glad he was able to put it on hold for me.

Its because they normally do sets of 4 and didn't change their cases. So now that they have 5 figures but only cases of 4, they have to cut one out of every case and offer 2 different ones. Really stupid if you ask me. I think they easily could have double packed Catwoman and had cases of 6.

Bah! Just checked CSC and they have everyone but the Hatter in stock, so thus, no full sets in stock. So my order is in limbo until they get their Hatters in. Looks like they only got Riddlers. FAIL!

I spoke to Diamond and the UK Arkham City 2 shipment will be on next weeks delivery so expect to see them in comic shops from Wendesday.

My LCS had them all in stock for 24.99 too

Luckily I was going to Dallas for a concert tonight anyway and found a shop up there that was selling them all for 19.99. I called ahead and they held them for me. I picked up all of them but the Batman figure. Thank you Zeus Comics and Collectibles! It really pains me that I can't support my LCS since they mark-up everything...

They all look great in-hand. The absence of stands is kind of annoying though.

Yay, my order for Series 2 arrives today from FOTD.

If anyone is still looking to buy the whole set of 5 figures I suggest going to Figure of the Day.com. They'll probably have the deal up again tonight at 12am PST. I bought it for $84.99 with free shipping in the US, but add tax if you live in CA :/

Thanks for the heads up man. I've lived in Dallas my whole life and never knew of Zeus Comics!!! I've always thought Lone Star Comics was the only place. And funny thing is, Zeus Comics is right by my job but Lone Star is right by my house.

I won't be able to make I there though unfortunately. They close pretty late but I get off after 8. Might have to try to squeeze them in during lunch.

here's a few pictures

overall i think that these figures meet the expectations i've had of the line so far. i mean, we're getting a pretty comprehensive rogues gallery here. my only two complaints are the mad hatter's size/articulation (think robin from the dark victory line) and no bases for 3 of the figures since a base is a necessity for figures like poison ivy that can't stand well on their own.

Haha nice! Give 'em a call. I'm sure they'd work with you. They had all of them yesterday and a really cool Tim Sale art print that I was SO tempted by. I was just looking for the nearest comic shop to Deep Ellum and called them before leaving (I live in Waco!). You'll have to let me know how it goes. The girl that helped me was super nice.

These look awful, Catwoman has no neck and apparently a herpes outbreak, no glasses for Riddler makes his eyes look wrong, Hush holds his guns like he's having a seisure or some sort of paralysis, no 1/10 on Hatter's hat and no bases. Talk about a half assed unfinished wave. What is hatter doing with his hands/wrists? What's the point of articulation when you make his hands posed like that..

I agree. These are all easy passes for me. It's a shame. I have dozens of Batman/villain figures, but still don't own a single Catwoman.

Got Riddler and Catwoman yesterday. As pissed as I am about Riddlers glasses, being my favorite villain, I had to get him. He DID have his glasses off at the end once Batman immobilized him...if that counts. I liked Catwomans sculpt enough to get her too. Though I wish she didn't have her heels molded the way they were. I would have rather a black base and normally sculpted boots.

They really cheapened out on this series big time. My comic shop had lots of Hatters left and plenty of Hush and Batman too. Also enough Catwoman and Riddler...though Riddler seemed to be the favorite.

I would assume many would not wanna spend $20+ for Hatter. I'd like to see Diamond release a standard release blister carded Minimate for $20+ bucks! I will wait on Hatter and Hush. Don't think I will get Batman.

catwoman has a neck but the collar of her top covers most of it. not sure what you mean by herpes haha. the scupt looks a lot better in person than the promos or even my pictures show. riddler is definitely kinda crazy in the face. would have loved glasses for him. hush would've benefited from ball jointed wrists. and there is really no excuse for the hatter's articulation. that's the best pose i could get out of him. they should've held hatter and released him in a 2-pack with another small figure like the penguin (a la robin + penguin in the dark victory line). these figures will look good among the others though. they're definitely a tremendous step up from mattel's line--not sure what more we could expect without paying a premium.

one thing too, the riddler's staff was a PAIN to get into his hand. best advice: use a butter knife to pry open his hand a bit. i didn't think i was ever going to get that thing in there.
