I am listing Doc Brown on eBay tonight around 8pm PST! In the auction, I'm including the plutonium case and the JVC camcorder as well, so I've put the reserve price at $799... shh don't tell anyone! lol...

Is the ending price how you plan to gauge your price for the run of figures sold on SSF?

Hopefully Dan will be willing to part out some of his accessories like he did with Marty - I already have Doc but would really like to accessorize him properly!

If you look 3 posts up you'll get a fair idea of what the price is likely to be when offered

That reserve price is for an auction that includes the plutonium case and the JVC camcorder. Many of you already have both of those, so I'll try to work out something better...

Cheers!

It may have something to do with it, but for my friends here, maybe not... I love the fact that we have a community of buffs here, so I'll do what I can to support us, but at the same time, I don't want to not put in a good effort to recoup as much of my time, effort and money spent as I can...

Anyways, I was just looking at the time I spent on all the ridiculous amounts of accessories to do Doc "right", and I realized I could have spent that time doing two, three, even four other complete figures with fewer accessories... It's definitely been a passion project more than anything else up to this point. I don't know if it will all wash out.

I know what I'd like to ask, but know it also looks like a lot... so I thought I'd go to eBay to see what the "market" thinks of my figure.

To be honest, I'm a bit reluctant to break up the complete sets for now , but that doesn't mean I can't make extra bits here and there after I recoup my costs from this first run.

I understand. :) I'm hoping a set like what I proposed to you in my PM a while back can be offered at some point.

What are the chances of a full set with just the figure / head not included? Or is that what we're already talking about...?

Wow:horror,,,,that's some serious bidding, and still plenty of time to go,,,,

Great looking figure and all the accessories are mind blowing.

If money were no object I'd buy it now.
Seriously cool, great job hope it goes well for you;)

I Think the bidders think they are bidding on a one of a kind figure?

That is an incredible amount of work in the accessories and 'gearing' of that figure. So much so, that I doubt I could ever part with it, if I had made it myself. I hope you get out of it, what you put into it.

Hopefully Dan will make enough on this figure to compensate for the R&D on this project and make the some of the accessories individually available. That remote control alone is worth some serious $$$.

I'm still praying Dan will offer the pieces individually! I think there is enough interest in certain pieces to make it worth his while.
