WB would rather make a teen titans go movie then a real teen titans movie and a superman sequal. They must think joker sells more than batman. it's like the person behind the scenes is a 70 yr old fart who thinks he knows what people want. Yes Joker movies! Thats what the kids want. Rated R harley movie. YES! **** the characters that made us millions. joker and Harley are our main focus. Two characters that work best with batman. It's like Sony is sleeping with WB and they both give eachother buissness adivice. Bad advice. It's crazy how the MCU is making everyone else fumble with comic properties. Fox and DC were killing it back in the day.

I disagree for quite a few reasons, First Class did quite well and that was while MCU was still young with only TIH, Thor, IM, IM2, and CA: TFA; which honestly all did mediocre except for Iron Man (box office wise, I enjoy all of them). Days of Future Past did pretty well especially considering how they had a great team flick that released after both Avengers. As for WB, BvS was not a failure. Sure they wanted to hit 1B, but MCU did that AFTER making 5 solo movies before teaming them all for the Avengers. BvS did all that with only one film, which was conflicting for the audience. Honestly, yes they went too quick, had they did MoS, and WW, and probably a Batman flick, BvS would have been up there next to Avengers. Release a Flash and Aquaman film, then JL, you would have gotten something close to IW in my opinion. I mean honestly, none of the DC movies did horribly, box office wise, except for JL.

I see nothing wrong with them building this type of universe, as Fox-Men did it with having the original cast of X-Men and now this new younger counterpart, which if Apocalypse did a bit better, would have been fantastic. I'm all for a new Joker, considering I find it hypocritical and hilarious that I see so many people ***** about it, yet also hate Leto, and then when there is no Joker, they get pissed. So which is it? I mean, Phoenix will probably be a more Jack Nicholson/80's Joker, so that should satisfy all those wanting a classic Joker. Love Leto's take, but I'm all for seeing Phoenix as well.

Allowing these duplicates also allows for potential in multiverse and time travel arcs, yet I bet when Avengers Pt.2 comes out and has time travel undo most of the event, everyone will give it a pass, but **** DC for trying to introduce their stories?

Because DC does things *** backwards

You seem to like Leto. See the xmen movies were all crap after days of future past. And some even before. The mcu is t perfect by no means but they learned from the mistakes they continued to grow .They used a **** version of apocalypse and underused characters...... again in favor of mags and freakin mystique. They had a perfect send off but decided. Derp let’s convult the timeline even more and have dark Phoenix “ an overrated story” into the fold. But now that Xmen are not as popular and Disney is getting rights they are trying to bury the movie and treat it like crap.

In regards to WB. Ummmm you do know that fans want things other than the joker right? I mean you understand that fans love other villains right? Batman has arguably the best rouges gallery ever so why on earth milk the joker? Joker works best with Batman . And ummm the mcu can use time travel and it will work cause...... shocker. They built up there universe for 10 yrs. what is WB doing? Let’s make two joker movies but not a superman sequel that will help the character grow. No let’s throw in everything that we think fans want like doomsday and more tdkr returns bs. Yea let’s put joker with a bunch of crap tats on his face.

The reason people respect the mcu is hey take time to polish the product. Dc seems to want to **** out something and try and polish it. Batman v superman should of hit a billion easily. JL should of hit a billion easily but nope they decided to rush out a good movie and try to play catch up instead of making a self contained movie.

I feel sorry for the handful of fans who honestly think DC isn’t doing anything wrong . There solos look great but they make horrible decisions. How much you want to bet that the new joker movie will only have joker at the very end? No Batman no nothing. Like venom, Joker works best with Batman. But yea let’s s confuse the audience and cause fatigue by making two joker movies that aren’t connected. Let’s completely forget about Batman and the others. Lol what?

Also why in ****s name would u want to have an elsworlds universe when you can’t even build a good universe yet. Take your damn time. Chill.

This movie really should have come out this month instead of May because I just watched it at the dollar theater and thoroughly enjoyed it! I just was not interested in seeing another Marvel flick in May so soon after BP and IW and with Solo right around the corner. I did not care for the first flick at *all* but found this one to be thoroughly entertaining.

In fact even this next morning I've found myself chuckling more than once as certain scenes from DP2 pop back into my head (the "trainee" sequence, utterly ridiculous X-Force parachuting sequence, DP's multiple death speeches where he kept messing up the timing of how much longer he had left, this stuff is actually cracking my up just to type it, lol.)

I loved the chemistry between all the characters, Domino was *fantastic*, and I was shocked at how much

DP going back in time to save Peter
hit me in the feels. In fact that last bit pretty much won me over to DP's entire shtick. I just skimmed a bit of the thread here and see that the biggest fans of the first one seemingly didn't much care for this new one and ironically thought that Reynolds was "trying too hard" this time out. Weird because one of the most off-putting aspects of the first one for me was that I felt that they tried way too hard in *that* one. Go figure.

This one made me laugh, I liked the characters, action could have been a bit grander but I still enjoyed the sequences that we got, was a bit disappointed that Negasonic got pretty much sidelined but Domino more than made up for it. I didn't mind them repeating the Origins DP/Green Lantern gags because they actually did them right this time. A few of the jokes did fall flat like the recurring Dupstep stuff but overall I was thoroughly entertained. I'd absolutely love to see Reynolds' DP interacting with the likes of Hulk and Thor so I hope that Disney finds a way to bring him into the existing MCU.

The thing about the Deadpool movies you really have to be in the mood to watch them... If your in a serious mood your probably not going to enjoy the humor... I binged watch them the other night back to back and I will say the humor was slightly better in the 2nd movie... but I did find both movies pretty funny....

One question though, was that Brad Pitt as Vanisher? if so that was pretty funny...

I noticed Mat Damon had a cameo as one of the red necks on the truck that Cable steals after he time travels.

Ok the extended cut was fun definately a better movie than the first one for me.

It just felt more relaxed and organic.

Not all of the humor was good but more hits then misses.

Worth owning.

I really liked the extended cut. Cable and Colossus and Juggernaut were awesome. Domino was done well too. Needed more Negasonic longest name ever though.

What all do they add/change with the extended cut? I wasn’t a huge fan of the theatrical and I’m wondering if I would enjoy it more this time around.

I think if you didn’t like the theatrical this isn’t going to change that.

But unlike BvS extended this added more cool action and they actually changed up dialogue and music so overall a very well done extended cut.

But i’m ready for Deadpool to stop breaking the 4th wall and just keep it as a straight up action comedy especially once in the MCU.

I finally saw this, didn't like it. The first one was better.
The jokes just got in the way of the story. The music and editing also sucked. Not sure which version I watched on cable, this was exactly 119 minutes long.

I didn't mind the changing of the ethnicities on Domino or Shatterstar because they were so different from the comic characters that they could've named them anything else and it wouldn't have mattered.
I'm glad I didn't pay more to see this.

I gave it another chance yesterday, liked it even less.
I came to the realization that DP2 was actually directed by Paul Feig, it has all the same problems as GB 2016.

With the Deadpool movies, you either hate them or you love them, there's not much middle ground.... I don't think a few added scenes is going to change your initial opinion of the film..
