3 days ago I wasn't going to give this game a chance, but my wife got it for me for my birthday and I love it. I've accepted the new Dante. The game has a great story and its fun to play. I love it.

:yess: :yess: :yess:

My next playthrough is going to be on "Hell and Hell" mode...Dante dies in one hit, enemies do not and are super hard...I fear for the safety of my controller.

Yeah, he looks great. I've been playing through today using DMC3 Dante and it's awesome. Maybe it'll get some people to open up and give the game a chance....Nah... :lol

It probably could have gotten some people to open up to it if the skin was free like it should be. Would've been a smart move.

I may look like a *** to most that played this game, but I just can't accept the hipster gweedo Dante to buy this thing.

These drastic changes and experimenting isn't paying off to well.... I think they should stop and hopefully learn from this. These new changes aren't just working, sorry Capcom...

It really is a shame, As this game is quite good. It's a shame people couldn't get past all the changes to actually give the game a chance. Can't really blame em though.

I hope it doesn't reflect negatively on Ninja Theory, as I've enjoyed most of their games and would like them to continue to make more.

True, but!

If they don't like change, they should just stick to playing the old Devil May Cry games.

Well...that's exactly what they did...which is why DMC isn't selling well.

Hmm... I see...

I think game players got to learn to adapted to new things...

Sure, there is a difference in slight changes and totally ruining a game but it's the challenge of learning a new game...

Ah well, I enjoyed it along with the other DMC games.

You should of seem it..... Petitions and forums telling everyone to but the old game. I liked the new one buy the fandom has spoken and they won't accept change. Sad but true, in a perfect world we could have both series continue.

People found anything to hate especially killing a demon baby.

I guess, ultimately it's their loss on missing out on an awesome game...

But yeah, the whole baby killing thing didn't faze much, as Capcom have been questioned about their controversies since back in the Final Fight / Resident Evil days.

I remember the director at Ninja Theory got death threats :lol Oh Nerd rage...it knows no bounds.

:lol

And yet we can question, all these people complaining, would or could they have done a better job themselves..?

Or they all just a bunch of whiny nerds LOL!

What's funny is dmc's story was all over the place to begin with. It was dmc 3 that lengthened the story.
