Oh, I wasn't saying it happened because of DMC. I just saying games in general are going to be under a lot of fire over the next few months or so due to the recent shootings and what have you.

Right, but all they'll see is "man assassinates unborn baby in video game" and BAM a million knee jerk reactions will be heard round the world.

Because we all know they'll take the time to research what actually happened in the game. Oh wait...no they wont.

It doesn't really surprise me. There was controversy with RE5 being rascist. People got upset over homosexual relationships in Mass Effect. Call of Duty had it's fair share with that airport massacre level. And of course the numerous controversies involving GTA...among many, many other games...

It's happened before...it's happening again...and it will keep happening.

got my pc version early !
OMG ! my GTX580 runs this game at 90 frames so smoth its unreal and with all the graphics cranked it's just an amazing looking game.
I am glad I waited for pc version.

got to meet vergil so far. wow the controls and attack mechanics are just so easy to use and fun.
Using the xbox controler and all feels perfect.
the voice acting is superb. great way to start 2013 gaming.

the challanges really teach you how to mix all your attacks.
great story for the reboot.

ohh yeaa man ! it runs like a dream. runs perfect and it looks spectacular.

I haven't got much more of the game left, and I can say I'm quite fond of this new version. The characters are all very endearing. I'm not sure what the writing is being compared too. The originals? because the writing is pretty on par with what those presented.

I enjoy watching this Dante learn about the world around him, seeing him drop his @$$hole demeanor every so often to show a bit of vulnerability. And the facial capture technology employed in this game, has made it a treat to watch these characters emote.

The game play I couldn't be enjoying more. Can't wait to sit down and play Vergils downfall.

I love old Dante. I like new Dante. Whichever version they decide to go with next time around. I'll be on board.

I wish someone would get the DMC license and make us some great 1:6 Dante figures. I'd love to have this Dante and a classic Dante.

Been a DMC fan for a while though I did pass on DMC3 which a lot of people say was one of the best. I did pick up again with DMC4 and enjoyed that.

The writing is indeed on par with the rest of the series, though I feel because the game is done by Ninja Theory, the writing and storyline is much more crisp and makes sense from a Western viewpoint. I notice a tendency with Japanese games to lose a crisp storyline because they get "caught up in the mythology" and want to throw 20 things at you at once (a la Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy).

Combo is fun and easy, no need to make it overly difficult because the game is supposed to be enjoyable and as a reboot you want to make it accessible to a new audience.

I like the new Dante. A brash, orphan punk and the one-liners sometimes are cheesy and sometimes are clever. The boss fights are pretty unique so far, especially Bob Barbas. The game stays VERY true to the soul and spirit of the original DMC. And to be honest with you, considering some of Ninja Theory's other games, namely Heavenly Sword, DmC is steps below what the studio is capable of. That's not saying it's a bad game, it's just that they could have done a lot more.

I'd like to see the next one have Ninja Theory throw in some of the other gameplay and style that they did with Heavenly Sword. Keep it DmC but don't be afraid to get a little unique with it as well.

just finished the game on pc !
wow what an awsome story.
loved the boss fights. love how you have to switch between demon attack and angel attack.
the combos are so easy to do and they look so amazing in motion.
one of my favorite parts of the game was when virgil and cat where scaping in the SUV and you had to helped them from limbo.
The graphics on pc with all the graphics cranked looked unreal and thanks to the xbox controler was able to control just perfect.
The motion capturing in the game is amazing and I love this new Dante.
omg when dante get's to the club and the bouncer says " you are not on the list BANG ! bouncer goes down (dante) signs the paper " I AM NOW " paper falls and insted of he's name it says a big **** YOU I was in tears.
AMAZING GAME great way to start 2013 video gaming.
9/10 for me.
