I bought this over the weekend. I really like it. It's better than half of the original DMC series.

Granted, I'm a bit biased towards Ninja Theory. I loved Heavenly Sword and Enslaved.

Yeah, I've loved nearly all their games. it's a shame their games don't seem to perform very well

I thought DmC Reboot was before DMC3 until I read it was a "Reboot of the Series", meaning Dante is in a Different Universe, so different story line, but Mundus is in DMC1 as well as DmC Reboot...

Also the Animated Series is slotted between DMC1 and DMC4, from what I read.

I like the fact he's less of a hero but more of a cocky *******. He's getting attacked by a huge demon and he's more worried about how his coat got up there. And I like the less "anime" look a lot. And of course the fact all my friends told me I and new Dante look-alike.

Also, when he was getting dressed, it had the best censorship in quite a while.

Loving the gameplay and the platform parts are quite fun. Nice variety of weapons and love making combos. The enemies are interesting and the boss fights are easy to understand. I'm loving this game and I want more.

Um have you played dmc 3 ? Most if not all of what your talking about was based on that Dante and that's why people love him. That cockiness was just overly better in dmc3 but that's just me. I felt this Dante was just trying to be cool but fails hard. The dmc3 Dante didn't take himself seriously and man was he cheesy but he was fun. This one is alright but not as cool as dmc3 to me.

DMC3 Dante broke the mold of Dante. Sure the others were cocky in their own right, be he was the only one that had a true personality and character development.
